Got Jackbox Party Pack, the first I buy in the series. It's fun. I like how easy it is to do multiplayer.

So Ragnarok Odyssey ACE for Vita: Whats the consensus? Further, is it worth it with Toukiden Kiwami coming out in like a month?

I am loving Knack.

It's actually so difficult on hard.

But very addictive.

Mark, please leave the tub and make a sequel pronto.

It should be noted that I never played a Geometry Wars game before. Is 3 the best one?

I'm a little biased because I've been a long time fan of Geometry Wars and love dual-stick shooters. I personally like GW3 the best of all the games because the new campaign mode is insanely good IMO. Immense variety in the levels and cool boss battles. Plus you get all the standard GW modes to play just for high score chasing.

That said Rayman is the much better deal of the two. Only talking about a few bucks cheaper for GW vs at least $20 for Rayman. I still haven't finished Orgins though so I'm passing for now (that and trying to not just fill up my hard drive with backlog).

Guys, please don't buy LBP3. It's broken as hell.

Yeah if anyone is eyeing it, I'd give it a pass. I tried to play a few nights ago online and it's literally unplayable. And for what it's worth, I didn't have many issues with games like Battlefield 4 or anything. This game has really bad input delay, it crashes frequently, and you won't be able to connect to your friends most of the time. It also deleted my save data once and the save data is like half a gig so it's hard to fit it in the cloud storage. But I'm not sure if that particular bug was actually fixed or not.

Either way, use the money on something like Guilty Gear Xrd or Tekken Tag 2 which are top tier fighters and they work online.

One day Senran Kagura will go on sale and I'll play it... Today was not that day. I just can't justify life or hometown for full price... We live in the age of the internet afterall.

What's wrong with it? I was tempted to buy it tomorrow, it still costs a lot more here than the GBP equivalent of $24 at the moment.
Read my previous post in this thread, it's basically unplayable online.
How accessible is Tekken Tag Tournament 2? I really stink at fighters but this one looks fun.

TTT2 can be incredibly intimidating if you're not too into the genre. There's a ton of characters, various tag mechanics, movement as a whole, etc. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to put in a good amount of time to improve your play.

Online for 3rd strike is still kicking. Certainly not hard to find a match. It's been my go to for the last couple years.

Wondering... is Continuum Shift II worth picking up if I own Continuum Shift Extend on Vita?
Likewise, is the PSP version of Guilty Gear worth picking up alongside the Vita one?

Grabbing PS1 fighters for PSTV. So easy to take to a friends house.

I really don't know if I should buy Knack or wait for it to appear on PS+

I guess I'll go with The Order now and wait

Speaking of which, has any Vita fighters supported local multiplayer on PSTV?

No reason to buy CS2 if you already own CSE

Any impressions on temple of Osiris? The game plus season pass equating to less than the game itself seems like a good deal

Really enjoyed GOL but only played solo.

I also can't seem to get definitive info on what the season pass gets you exactly

According to the official site, there will be a free patch to allow Ultimate players to play with Last Round players online. As for the Last Round content (characters, stages, costumes), it will be available to Ultimate owners through DLC. No price was given though, at least not that I saw.

For comparison, the PS3 version of Last Round will cost $30 when it releases later this month. So unless the content costs $20, it will probably be cheaper to upgrade.
Thank you for the response, I think I will just get Ultimate now for giga-cheap and buy Honoka when she's available.

Now the next thing I need to decide is to get DW8 for Vita or not. I've never played the series, but I am really really really digging Hyrule Warriors right now...

Also considering getting Monster Monopiece. Never really heard about it until now but I could dig it if the mechanics were fun.

DW8 for vita is a really shoddy port. As a huge Warriors fan myself, I would advise you not to get it.

I have Alpha 3 Max (PSP). Think there's any real reason to pick up 1 or 2?
Personally, I think SFA2 is a better game than SFA3 and quite possibly the best Street Fighter to date. But If you're not too deep into fighting games, you may not see much of a difference between the two and consider SFA2 inferior because of the smaller roster.

It has one of the best soundtracks of the franchise though so if that's enough for you...

I also have SFA3 Max already, but I'm thinking about picking up SFA2, for similar reasons to what Dizzy-4U described. The two games have enough differences in both aesthetics and gameplay that they're both worth having.

At only $1.20, it's difficult to pass up, even if you just want to mess around and check out the different backgrounds and the soundtrack (which includes some remixes of SF2 songs).

Thanks to you both for the replies. I was thinking exactly along the lines of the above. I thought I'd get either 1 or 2 but not both. At a buck 20, it's worth it just to mess around with a few times.

I say get it unless u plan on playing online.
It is a great game to play with friends or family to nust mess around and mash buttons.

SFA2's main issue is the loading times, but it runs OK otherwise. I would still much rather have an arcade perfect port M2 style though ;)

You can instantly tell the difference between 2 and 3 from the combo system, in SFA3 an enemy will remain knocked up in the air until they choose to recover, but until then you can keep them knocked up for as long as you want.
In 2, any move that knocks them up will usually just let you add one special or super move and that's it.
CC mode in SFA2 is more bonkers though.

Is DW8 good? I love the spin-offs like One Piece and Hyrule Warriors, but I tend not to care for the story in the regular Dynasty Warrior games. Is this one good enough even without caring for the confusing story?

Also, how is the gameplay on Monster Monpiece?

I just did some testing on the Vita and found that "fast" disc speed is not supported. If you have that turned on you'll get 10 seconds of loading between fights.

Make sure it's set to "normal". The load times are 5 seconds. Not too bad really.

lol thanks for that, some games run better with that option turned off, gonna test it later on today while messin' with Gief.

For that matter, I didn't remember until I saw it in my download list that SFA2 requires pressing multiple buttons to have stronger supers come out

Which got me to wondering when you press all 3 Punch buttons, what button is mainly prioritized and comes out? HP or HK? Cuz depending on if it is a fixed button I can assign it to the shoulder buttons on the Vita.

Grabbed my wife and kids Knack.

They are really enjoying it, not as much as 3D World, but for 10 Dollars they are having a really good time and it was certainly worth the money.

Anyone that has the Jackbox seen any repeat questions yet? Only thing I hated about old versions is that they were kinda thin, and worried about that again as this "game" is split into 5 mini ones.
