Also probably hasn't been color corrected yet, which could boost the brightness. Wait for a trailer to speculate guys.
Q: Had you given up on getting the chance to return to Greendale Community College?
A: We'd all mourned the loss of the show. We had a commiserating dinner where we all were like, "Well, that's that. It's all over." We had all moved on and had begun taking meetings other places because we thought it was dead and then it wasn't. I was thrilled. It was like Buzz Lightyear grabbed us by the shoulders and said, "I'm falling with style." We were like Woody, and we were saved.
Q: Will the new season be different from the NBC seasons?
A: Well, we aren't restrained by the FCC anymore, but that doesn't mean we'll be nude and cursing all the time. It will be the same show just about three or four minutes longer than it used to be. It's more of an HBO-length comedy now. I can tell you these are the best scripts I've ever done. I am skipping to work each day because I am so happy about what is happening.
First Look: Community Heads to Yahoo for Season 6
Did not know about the extended episode times. That's cool.
There are no costs (subscription, Pay per View, etc) associated with Yahoo Screen, correct? Essentially, I should be able to watch Season 6 for free when it "airs"?
I think so. Anyone know which devices carry Yahoo Screen? Xbox 360 by chance?
360 yes, PS3 I think no. It's borderline criminal how hard it is to find this information out on Yahoo Screen's own site; their own help documents don't even mention devices, except iOS.
Edit: BTW, it's probably not a good sign that in Yahoo's "help with our products" page, Yahoo Screen isn't even listed as a main product. I really feel like this venture is a ridiculous waste of money by Marissa Mayer's part. Don't get me wrong, I love Community and I'm glad Yahoo stepped in, but their Yahoo Screen project feels like no one at Yahoo cares enough about it to do even a half-assed job.

I'd be all for this. Moss has already directed an episode or two. Just get Roy and Jen and throw in Matt Berry. Either have them all as IT people for the school or throw them randomly as different characters in an episode or two.Good uk with Jeff thrown in
I haven't been paying attention to updates since the show was saved so sorry if I'm very late on this, but no Yvette this season? That's a shame. And damn, I know Joel has always been big but he looks seriously jacked in that promo pic.
Yvette left the show to take care of her father. She joined a sitcom which was easier to shoot than Community's long hours.
Do we know it doesn't have commercials? No commercials and no timeslot means they can make it as long as they want to. I love the new TV-age. Makes me never want to go back to network TV and its 20 minute show : 10 minute commercial ratio again.
Do we know it doesn't have commercials?
There'll probably be ads. But it doesn't count because it's not restricted to a 30 minute timeslot. So ads could be 30 seconds, 60 seconds or 5 minutes if they wanted to be with skip buttons. Plus any ads on the video would be a lot less than what you'd get on TV. And there will most likely not be any mid-video ad breaks. (I fucking hate those. You hear me, Yahoo? Only one ad break per video. At the beginning. Got that?)Do we know it doesn't have commercials?

Thanks for the info. At least it wasn't due to a fallout like Chevy. Hopefully she could return in a future season.
Is this going to be made available all at once or weekly?
Am I seriously the only person here who's already used Yahoo Screen before the season premiere? Y'all are acting like the service isn't live until Community airs.
Seriously, it's absolutely awful as far as usability goes. It's shockingly bad and makes me think they have no idea what they're doing.
I will say they were on the ball enough to donate some swag for CommuniCon 3 and film the panels, though.
I honestly had no idea it existed until Yahoo picked up Community
Of course. Same here. But in the months since then I've been trying to get ready so when it debuts I'll be ready to watch.I honestly had no idea it existed until Yahoo picked up Community
I've started watching this series in February, and I'm six episodes away from finishing it. Just wanted to say that I'm on team Annie, that is all.I've just started watching the show.
I'm officially in love with Alison Brie now.
That is all.
Cast looks so small now. :-(
