Multiple storylines and a level editor (coming in spring). Should last you a while.

I think the game is only 500mb so it will only take five or ten minutes to download normally. Also come the fuck on with that midday release, I want to play at midnight (or whenever it's first unlocked by a VPN).

I really hope some of the soundtrack stays the same. I'd truly want the menu music, Deep Cover, post level music and all the sound effects in between to stay there, that's probably unlikely but it'd still be great if they keep some of that in.

The editor will be on PS4, but not Vita.

are you sure? not all the tracks appear on the 3x vinyl (26 Vs. 40), additionally Jasper Byrne released a slightly tweaked version of the "Score Screen" song a month ago. Which is a close enough version that'd I still consider it as a song from the original game.

yeah, his Hotline Miami 2 EP is here:

And none of the music in Hotline Miami 2 is "new" as they are old synthwave tracks they've just licenced. Carpenter Brut tracks for example are from 2012.

New in the sense of being new for this game. When I played it I did not hear any repeats from the first game.

Digital console releases suck as they are 90% of the time locked to when the Store updates

Us europeans get punished by a 24h+ delay with the PS-Store updating on wednesday evening.

Some big games do get exceptions or they allow you to pre-download the game and it will unlock upon midnight. Would love this feature for digital only games too like this one.

I pre-ordered on Steam, I think it unlocks tomorrow afternoon. I expected midnight tonight.

I was tempted to get it on the ps4, but then I'd have to wait until Wednesday, wouldn't have the choice of kb+m (how I prefer to play Hotline) and guaranteed level editor.

Lock-on aim and wild spray&pray mechanics are more prevalent with the analogue sticks can't be as single-shot-accurate like with a mousepointer.
