The description of weapon upgrades makes it sound like that system isn't gonna be nearly as deep as in previous games. Which goes along with most other RPG aspects seemingly having been toned down. They're
there, but they're not as deep or extensive. Should still be plenty to get some nice customization going, but perhaps this one won't be quite as replayable as the Souls games (the Chalice dungeons might cure that though).
(Before I'm jumped for this or accused of concern trolling: I'm very excited for this game, can't wait! I'm just commenting on things that seem to have changed a bit, for better or worse.)
We have PS4 games that are graphically more demanding. PS4 is clearly capable of better. It's just From's third class coders who can't optimize apparently.
Didn't even Demon's Souls have better AA?
Eh, no, I just played through DeS, and I'm pretty sure it has zero AA. Razor-sharp jaggies all over. BB's AA is pretty bad too though.
Question if anyone knows the answer, since the day one patch is decently sized (2.7 GB) does the patch download with the disc? In a sense, does the disc install, and then the patch? Or will the disc not fully install until the patch is installed?
PS4 games can be played as soon as the disc install (or part of it) is done, you don't have to wait for the patch like on XBO. But then you'll have to restart the game to apply the patch once it has downloaded of course, it doesn't do that on the fly as you're playing.
