most of your firearms scale with bloodtinge but they're weak. there's only one melee weapon i know of that scales favorably with it. i'm not sure about arcane. from a cursory look at some of the weapons i've noticed that they require arcane but don't necessarily scale well with it. sorry can't be more of a help.

Newbie question: Any advantages going digital besides not having to use a disc? Better loading times for example?

No every game gets fully installed and ran from the hard drive.

You have to download the whole game from the disk anyway, so the load times are the same.

Ready and preloaded. No idea what I'm getting into, though. Never really got to play Demon's/Dark Souls.
YOU WILL DIE, but you will enjoy it a lot no worries. I just played Demon's Souls and skipped Dark Souls. Be patient and you'll be fine.

I thought you had to log with the buyer's account to play in multiple PS4s now.
There's a catch yes. Now, what you have to do is to exchange accounts and activate your PS4 in your friend's account. Your friend has to do the same. Once you do that then your good to go to use it in your own account (now secondary at your console). Thats why the other person needs to be someone you trust, but other than that it's still possible!

Same here, my first digital pre-order. I was hoping for a very early pre-download but now with my low Internet speed I'm not gonna play Bloodborne on day one.

The really should put the pre-load up once they charge you. Depending on your connection you might not be able to play day 1 otherwise.
