What if there was a third invisible 03 on the initial counter (counting the days), that would explain why it changed after 2-3 days, we don't know exactly when the site was put up. This invisible counter has been counting down for 6 days since the last change. Guess we'll find out tomorrow

Really? I'm more annoyed by the fact that I have to wait 6 months for Danganronpa AE than this thing that doesn't even exist yet.

For many of us, tomorrow is do or die.
Next week I will begin playing VLR with the wife regardless. Then its danganronpa 2.
Yeah. Really. I had come to peace with it never being a thing. Then it becomes possibly a thing again and just tortures everyone without confirmation that it will happen at some point or not.
Patience runs shorter in times like that.

If the digital root idea is right, then it will go like this (for 6/7 weeks):
0303
0302
0301
0300
0299
0298
It will feel like the counter is going on "4 infinity. ∞"
In reality, the real countdown are the digital roots.
0303=6
0302=5
0301=4
0300=3
0299=2
0298=1
When it reaches 1 or what should be 0, the site will have a "mysterious malfunction" (because 0297=9) and something new will happen, maybe the announcement.
That's what I think will happen. Not giving up hope on ZE3.

So if tomorrow the website doesn't change that is it right? We have stretched our expectations this far, and although this last theory COULD be solid, we seriously are trying our hardest to figure out something that just doesn't seem to change. I personally am ready to call it quits if it stays the same tomorrow, after checking this page daily, I just don't see what they are trying to achieve with this after this long, other than rile us up lol.

I would have to update excactly 7 days after the last change, so about 24h from now.
If nothing changes by tomorrow, then I'm out as well. But right now, I'm all in.
This idea seems simple enough to be true, we'd have thought of it a lot earlier if those pictures hadn't diverted our attention from the beginning. The teaser would have been a lot more vague and we wouldn't have spent so much time on solving the "ARG". If that's what’s going on, then the actions or lack thereof by Aksys make sense to me. They can't just say "Yup, it's ZE3" because of Chunsoft and their marketing plans, but they also can't step in and lie to us just to calm us down. They did their best by locking the images.

Your post about the digital root countdown ending with a malfunction at 9 has gotten me hyped again, takoyaki. Damn you! I hope you're right. My only gripe with it is, why did the first number change happen 2 days in and not a week? Poor planning prevented them from starting it on 13/03? Is it important that the countdown ends on a specific date? You theory points to 24/04 for a full reveal. I can wait till then if we get clues in the middle. Is there any significance to that date in either the Zero Escape or Infinity series?
