With the ability to upgrade existing legendary gear, I think they will add higher level of VoG. If not then will we keep on getting 248 attack weapons from VoG?
I think there is a decent greater than zero probability chance that they will offer VoG and/or CE raid legendary modes that drop 365 attack weapons etc.
We saw video of a Bungie tester wearing higher level VoG armor and higher level exotics.
But I don't think they will announce this on the coming Wednesday no matter what... it might be something they save for a future announcement...
I think it would be weird to require newer players to grind VoG for Fatebringer etc and then require them to grind again to raise it's attack value to 365... and Bungie seems to be always concerned about making things accessible for newer players so... IDK.

It was a great OT for many. I got my first Gjallahorn as well!
Maybe it's just because this OT has run longer than previous ones.

Yes, I 100% agree that at some point in the future there will be a higher level VOG.. I'm saying, the 365 variants they're talking about now will not be from this updated raid. That will be some time in the future... likely a long time in the future.
The 365 variants we're talking about in HoW will be upgradable based on the gear you already have received and will not rely on "new" drops from an updated VOG. (my speculation)

They did it before (I think it was when you were on break?). It took forever for VoG to be updated with 331 exotics.
I don't think bungie has enough manpower focusing on the current content and HoW to pull it off for May 19th. It's a bit more complicated than just going in and changing a few enemy levels and item stats.
I would love for them to prove me wrong. I'd farm a higher level VoG if it were added for sure.

We don't know until next Wednesday for sure when they reveal this process, but I'll absolutely bet that it will not be "updated raids".. rather, you will upgrade your existing gear by some means. At what cost? Not sure. But it will not be cheap.

I have to agree with Deku on this. Given Bungie's MO I think they'll have updated raids. Also, I think they need to have at least one raid that is relevant to keep the core audience engaged.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind a higher level VOG. I love that raid and would love to play it weekly. Crota I could care less about.
I barely even posted in this OT, and when I did, it was all in the last few days. For me, this OT will forever be remembered as when Bungie killed my family and didn't give me a new raid and other bad stuff.

Will upgrading the legendary weapons be more costly than the current exotic upgrade path?
I could see them doing something like the Nechrochasm where you have to get so many kills and then need some special item to upgrade them.
That is probably too much work, so we'll most likely have to go through Xur/Gunsmith and will be a copy of how it's done now.

So absolutely no 6 player content in HoW? It wouldn't make sense to have it with comet since comet is going to have plenty of content

Please Bungie if you're listening increase the glimmer cap for HoW. I have a feeling these upgrades won't come cheap.
I would think it would be a good opportunity as a quality of life update/patch, sometime outside DLCeason.
Just a comment on how angry people were over the lack of a raid. There was some straight up venom in the gaming side thread.

In this OT it looks like Todd just used the crop tool in his favorite image program. Preview on Mac OS X does that pretty easily. Also I am not sure there was a 100% sizing parity between previous OT's for that image..
They also added a fun element to the shared spaces; I think Bungie is trying to slowly build those out to be more interesting spaces with things like the Blades and whatever happens with HoW. I took them mentioning the issue in the DOC section of the update as being an indication that it was unintentional, though it would have been nice if they had specified. It would be a bummer to start taking away events from the game when it needs more.

Hmm I very rarely go to Gaming side at all anymore, so I guess I don't relate to these types of things because I haven't read the posts. It always sounds so unpleasant when people talk about the level of discourse. So I just get confused what people here are even talking about, haha.

Yup I don't think they should be taking things away either. I wasn't really sure if they were admitting that it was a bug or not. I imagine that if they put something else like that in for HoW then they will want the HoW thing to be the focus. I hope they do and I hope it's good.
