I can download the NBA demo, I can download demos of cancelled games, heck I have a bunch of Guitar Hero and Rock Band songs that can't be legally sold anymore (even some that were free to start with like "Promised Land" and "Headphones on") that can still be downloaded.

This a complete joke and makes me doubt going digital on Sony systems in the future

Like I know that PS3 emulation isn't even a thing, but could this theoretically be done?

Theoretically it's possible, and considering the PS4 doesn't use exotic hardware like the PS2 and PS3 did, but fairly standard x86 hardware (from what I know), it might actually be easier to emulate the PS4 than the PS3 once computers are powerful enough to pull off a PS4 emulator.

That would raise some very interesting questions. F2P only means you can play for free. There are always plenty of payment options to be made inside the game, at which point the consumer has purchased a digital product. I guess this usually falls into the MMO category though, where consumers are made well aware that the game is only available for so long as the servers are maintained, and it's always a limited-time deal.

We already announced previously that the distribution period of the P.T. demo was going to expire on Apr.29th. The reasons were that, P.T. was a playable teaser for a project that was being discussed with Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus. That specific project has now been cancelled. KONAMI will however continue to develop "SILENT HILL" branded titles.
