If I had programming skills, I'd engage in this kind of trolling all the time. I'm surprised we don't have our own phantom bullshit leakier operating under a mysterious name and selecting anonymous youtube and twitter accounts to unleash glimpses of elaborately crafted banjos, Crashes and FF7s 'leaked' at opportune times around big name conferences.

I think it's real but an utterly shit looking budget-PSN title that SCEE thinks we want for some reason, just because nostalgia. Like that atrocious looking Shadow of the Beast reboot.

There have been Crash remakes using Cryengine and UE3: http://www.dsogaming.com/?s=crash+bandicoot
but they didin't make big fuss at that time and no one screamed : "Crash leaked".
So many games got remakes too using such engines and espeiclaly UE4. I really don't understand why this got so much buzz over others while it belongs to the same category. People nowadays are too much incredulous or naive.

The graphics look very good, it's a game that most people don't care about, and it looks professionally done.
My first question would be "Why would anyone want to make a fake leak of this game?" This is a game franchise most people don't care to heavily about, and if it was fake if the creator wanted a bigger impact the creator should had made a leak for God of War or something like that.

Didn't see the video, but a 2 second clip sounds pretty suspicious to me.
I think MediEvil could be a really good AA game these days, with the right gameplay design. I'd definitely like to see another game in the series.

On the bright side, this fake leak has been debunked pretty quickly and the 'leaker' doesn't get the satisfaction of trolling us till Sunday, when he was most likely going to smugly 'reveal' it was a fake and that we were suckers for believing his elaborate hoax.
Credit to those who pointed out all the inconsistencies and didn't allow their hearts to rule their minds.

It's a really great fake though. Hopefully Sony see's the rise this got out of people and maybe starts to take a better look at some of their old I.P.'s that have been collecting dust. This, Parrapa the Rapper, Legend's of Dragoon, Ape Escape. All franchises that could still be successful given they are paired with the right studio with the right motivation.

It's really annoying to see people playing the smartass after most people see it's fake. If you post something like this in the first few pages ok but now it's kinda pointless.
