They have been sold out since November, so any opportunity to get a new white Xbox is beneficial, IMO.

They were trying to push Sunset Overdrive from a first party perspective rather than a game that will undoubtedly sell itself.

The white console is legitimately super-cool. Picked the Sunset bundle up last year, and it's just a great looking system. Controller as well, it's what people want to see with an XBox platform. That white controller is iconic, so I see how it's desirable.

From what I'm hearing they didn't release the bundle for Halo to sell itself, which it did, and also presumably, because the game was still having issues, which is why the regular Halo MCC was released in march not long after the latest patch that fixed a lot of the game.

Of course, that's just what a few people have been saying. I do find it interesting that the halo MCC black bundle came out near the patch though.

You can still find this "limited" edition to buy and it seems to be cheaper each week. Launched at R$1999 (US$660), but today I saw it for R$1349(US$450).
