Underground 1 & 2 are the best NfS games, even my favorite racing games. Please let the game be good and not too flooded with online/social stuff
You mean based on this image
Yeah it looks closer to a 930 than a 964 judging by the headlights.

Don't knownwhy people hate Underground 2 because of open-world.
In UG2 the world was basically a hub to get into the races and the actual races were closed track. Carbon and Most Wanted were the same way. If they repeat that then I'm good.
but they kinda messed up the Most Wanted remake recently didn't they...
Upgrading, tuning, liveries, insane amount of customization.
And the drag races with manual gears.
It's the tuna, man.
No, it's a 964.
Not so sure.
The above is a 993 and it looks a lot more similar to the first high resolution pic.
Pretty sure the green car isn't a Porsche at all. The area with the glass and roof goes too far back to be a 911, and the spoiler is a weird shape that I've never seen on a modded 911, the wingtips are further toward the front of the car than the main part of the spoiler.
If this really is Underground 3 it had better be tacky as shit. I aint buying it if I can't make a JDM car look like a christmas tree.
Wait what?
Do you even know how a 993 looks like? Not so sure.

This one? It looked like a different car to me.
But I just noticed the second "layer" at the bottom of the wing that seems to match RWB kits, so now I'm not sure.
It's a 964, period. Stop over analysing. The body kit probably is based on RWB but not real since NFS games never used true aftermarket brands for their tuning options.
I always knew the Porsche in the images was a 964, if you look over the past pages you'll see I was one of the ones who pointed out why it wasn't a 930 or 993.
All I was saying was that the roofline on the newer picture with the green car's wheel didn't look like a 911 shape.
That's not a 964 at all

Because I spent more time getting to a race than racing. That's why I only bothered with the mission list in MW.
Rivals solved this problem since you can pull up the world map and select an event and the game will warp you to the start of it.
But I liked driving to the racing event, isn't that the point? The enjoyment of driving?
See you tomorrow
At this point, I'm really hoping it's next gen only but I doubt it.
Might cater to stance community
I actually hope the same. No disrespect to last gen as I have both a 360 and PS3, but I really want this game to look/play/feel as good as possible.

if RWB is in this game. Rocket Bunny and Liberty Walk kids has to be in it too. Might cater to stance community
The problem with Rivals was the overabundance of police officers. I couldn't roam freely without a cop car chasing me every 2 minutes and that ruined the whole point of the open road. Even the open road is ridiculously small, considering how fast you drive through it, especially while evading the feds.
It wasn't a bad game but it wasn't a fun game. The novelty wore off after a few hours. Most Wanted was much better but it definitely shouldn't have been called Most Wanted, I enjoyed that game but it had a barebones single player and multiplayer. What's the point of having a game called Most Wanted and has no cops online?
This game really needs a meaty single player because online communities die very quickly, especially if its an unpopular game. I think the social integration is incredibly important in this revival, with the whole "swag, Instagram, snapchat, fame culture" in street racing. but they shouldn't forget to make a solid campaign, which has been sorely missing in NFS since Carbon.
I always wanted them to mix Underground and Most Wanted but we got a disappointing fusion with Carbon. Hopefully they don't remove cops entirely and bring back their nature as they were in Most Wanted 2005, while basically remaking Underground 2 for 2015 with social features added.
Best wishes.
I hope we track based and open world races.
