Is cardboard actually a thing? As in, is it actually good?

I thought it was like a joke experiment last year

Na, it's legit, obviously not as good as more expensive headsets but it achieves its objective of giving anyone a taste of VR imo.

This guy seems like young Steve Jobs on stage.
Pretty generic that big coy presentations all are copying Apple style .

I guess this is their way of announcing an Open VR initiative. Covering APIs, recording, and entry level optics.

Yeah, don't think I've heard an "err" out of him.

He should present from now on.

He's talking about cardboard as the most interesting thing and actually engages his audience.

Next Steve Jobs?

Yeah, in contrast to many other presenters, he seems very at home on stage. I'm very interested in what he's talking about, and I don't give a shit about Cardboard.

He's as good as Vic Gundotra was.

What's this guy's name? He's awesome.

Haha, YouTube joke was good. As he was leading up to it, I was thinking "You're working on a new site to host these videos? That's stupid, you have YouTube! Just put it there."
