File is still only 7.6gb on the UK store. I believe most xbox one dlc is region free and contains all languages so I'm guessing the full file hasn't uploaded properly.

Seems more clearly about 'mother' Earth, like classic propaganda inspiring soldiers to fight for the fatherland or motherland.

Not to sound unappreciative or anything, but I really wish Firefight was part of the package as it was the best and most replayable part of ODST or all of Halo co-op, IMO. Bring back Firefight for at least DLC, damn it!

I always prefer horde mode in online games so yes, no firefight is a bummer.

I dont know but I think I´m screwed?
Redeemed the coded and got the message when the download was at 99% that I couldnt download ODST. Started MCC and got the update. Still couldnt download ODST so I removed it from the queue. When I start MCC and choose Halo ODST it says I must download it from Marketplace but when I get there, there is nothing =(

Dunno about dlcs but games can be different depending on the region. Witcher US version got fewer languages than Euro/pal version.

I mean, yeah all games are region free but the content can vary.

I would pay $10-20 more if they could add Reach's campaign with full 1080p resolution and 60fps game play. I don't think they'd do firefight or multi-player though.

Go to MCC in the Games and Apps menu -> Press Start -> Manage Game. You will see ODST there. -> Delete it -> Change location to US -> Reboot console -> Go to MCC Manage Game again and download again.

It's usually the EU versions that are larger though, thanks to additional localization data.

But either way, EU downloads seem to be screwed, whether it's a broken file, or just some kind of license verification issue.

Would have been easier to leave it there.

Go to My Games and Apps, find MCC, select manage game, and the DLC should show up there for you to download

Edit: I see you've been helped :)

Dude, come on. It was a reference to Bungie's new IP. It would've been easier to leave it in, sure, but there's always possible legal ramifications if they do that. Same reason they changed the Marathon symbol in CEA/Halo 2 Anniversary, as well. There's nothing petty about it.

So, where should it be? I downloaded it, when i go to manage game it says it is installed (8.1 GB), but it doesn't show up in the game. Do I have to delete and reinstall?

I am a touch confused (haven't played MCC in ages and been out of the loop) but did ODST just get launched with HD treatment like rest of the MCC as a free dlc for those who have MCC?

I thought I recently saw a thread about delay in ODST due to testing and after seeing this thread I am confused.

Clarification would be much appreciated, thanks.

Yeah, but in this case it was clearly used to refer to Destiny, the game, even though we didn't know it at the time. I understand why they replaced it, companies can sue each other over the smallest things. Better be safe than sorry.

Yes, it's just been released. Previously 343 had given May as a tentative release date, but due to the lack of any communication on their part in the last few weeks everyone assumed it would miss that mark. People were mad that they weren't being kept in the loop.

The professional with the recommendation of a legal department probably knows more about this than you, especially if you don't explain your reasoning. "Petty" would mean spiteful, and this definitely isn't that. Destiny is trademarked, and there could reasonably be confusion about the universes between the series.

The word Destiny in video games is trademarked to Bungie and Activision even if it's not specifically stylized as the actual logo.

It's not petty. It's basic legal stuff. Plenty of other Bungie IP remains in the games.

Cancel the download. Switch your console to US locale in the settings menu. Restart. Go to the MCC in your games hub, press start and select 'Manage'. Redownload ODST now, should be 8.1 gigs instead of 7.5. That version works.

I'm checking into it, but it may be a marketplace issue rather than something specific to ODST. Seems to be affecting UK users specifically and folks in this thread have had success with various workarounds.

Did you have to buy/play the game before a certain date to get it?

I only got an Xbox One a couple of months ago. Either way it's up on the store for $6.65AUD, that's pretty cheap. I'm happy to pay for it.
