A separate team ported them, no games were put on hold to make them, you are still getting new games this is just an extra set of games.

They're making Uncharted 4. So it's not holding that back at all. This collection isn't exactly just for people who wanna replay them. There's tons of people who never had a ps3, but had 360's who now have PS4's that have never played Uncharted before.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with just calling it the Uncharted Remastered Collection.
In the same way the first 2 God of War games were just called the God of War Collection.

People complaining about remasters are hilarious. With the switch to x86, it's highly likely that future consoles are going to be backwards compatible with PS4/XB1 games. So a remaster now means that we'll most likely be able to play these games in the future without having to dig out old consoles.
Besides, not everyone had a chance to play these amazing games last gen.

I think remasters are far more worthwhile when the games were platform exclusives. Plenty of PS4 owners never owned a PS3, and there isn't a PC version of these games for them to benefit from hardware advances subsequent to it's original release.

Blupoint can give us the TLOU treatment. They're damned good at what they do. They also did the MGS HD Collections. So of course there's 30 -> 60 fps precedent.

Was a locked 30 or variable framerate, but everything else was great from what I remember. They're regarded as one of the best port devs.
Are they actually gonna call it Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection? Lol. The Uncharted Trilogy sounds better. But I guess they're trying to make Nathan Drake more of a name, like Master Chief I guess. Uncharted 4 coming out soon too.
Let's hope Naughty Dog doesn't outsource the hell out of it like 343 did for MCC.

Oh hell yes, give me Uncharted 2 in 1080/60 and I'll forever be happy.

Well you should be surprised then. Uncharted was born in 2007 and in the next 8 years we've only gotten 2 sequels for console and 1 for Vita.
That's 4 games in 9 years total (not counting this remastered collection).
This is far from Ubisoft/Activision levels of milking a successful franchise.

Uncharted is a solid name, sure, but they want Drake's name to be like Indiana's name. And the way you do that is market it as such. Make Drake a household name, and you can have comics, films, etc.
