So from what we heard so far (from Shinobi) Sony Bends Game will be an Open World Horror Game, with infected humans ala TLOU, searching for supplies - survive

a SP Version of DayZ with a story?

Hope that game will be announced at E3

Pretty much what I expect but I wouldn't expect Ni no Kuni 2. Ghibli is currently not working on anything and I don't see L5 doing it without their involvement, so yeah, I expect a new IP or even a new White Knight Chronicles, totally revamped.

The SFV new character reveal would be Cammy I think, since that leak mentions a London new stage. That and SF is not SF without her.

Persona 5 release date will either be late 2015 (according to that website leak) or early 2016 imo (something like march or april).

I don't know if I believe that GT: Sports leak. Sounds weird. It makes sense that it would be Morpheus compatible though.

I feel like this E3 could be a special one for JRPG fans.

So much potential... Level-5's new PS4 game, Dark Souls 3 and Star Ocean 5 are supposed to make it.
We might get a Xenoblade X release date, a new Illusory Revelations #FE trailer, a new Persona 5 trailer...

And maybe some surprises?

from what i remember, it should be a new IP

i think with the huge success of the Ps4 in the west & the declining market in Japan. The japanese publisher are finally trying to get more western consumers --> a bigger western presentation.

Did Level 5 ever announce their new IP at an E3???

My excitement about Level 5 bringing a new IP is increasing as E3 comes closer, I really hope they go up with the fantasy trail. Dunno why, but I don't see something similar to WKC as appealing as something in the lines of Dark Cloud or Rogue Galaxy.

I don't know if it has been posted but I was looking at IGN's live schedule and there is a LOT of TBA demos. With all the pre-E3 unveiling going on right now does this mean that there is a LOT of games being saved for the conferences this year? Or is it just IGn not setting things in stone/rumour mongering?

To be accurate, there are 35 'TBA E3 Game' slots, which in my book is quite promising :p

I have a laundry list of games that are already announced that I need some news on. Some of them seem to only exist in logo form with no other info.

Hellblade and R&C crossed off my list now, as is ABZU. Only 384 to go!

I felt like WKC's biggest problem was its art direction. So bland.

I really wish Verendus would clear things up about Sony's 2 JRPGs. Or did he already?
EDIT: Nvm found it. Why did you have to mention Shadow Hearts in that post? -.-

I had a pretty similiar list in my head (doubt the L5 game is Ni No Kuni 2) and it seems many others too. "Thanks" to all these damn leaks and the already known stuff we practically know the whole conference again - that's so boring.

Well... at least there'll be some new things to look forward to (if they don't get leaked in the next days) like trailers/gameplay for Horizon, TLG reboot or the L5 game.
I still hope that they have at least one surprise that isn't already known, but TLG revival and GT were probably supposed to be these games.

Here is the Barlog tweet from last year if some missed it

Of course development may have gone faster than anticipated but I wouldn't hold your breath for God of War

It's not exactly unheard of for devs to lie about whether they're going to turn up at an event or not, but I think in this case Barlog is being genuine. We're not going to see God of War 4 or whatever his project is at this E3.

i think PSX would be a good place to show a teaser/short Trailer

For easier perusal, I've collected some stuff that's popped up today.

Here's a Nintendo thing from our neighbors to the North: "In the next few weeks at E3 you’ll be hearing about more big third-party partnerships" and "We would love to have [third parties] and you’ll hear in a few weeks about some interesting partnerships."

Hopefully they're not UNPRECEDENTED partnerships. That's an E3 joke. Laugh.

Next Level Games is technically a third party, but the Nintendo Canada guy uses the erroneous 2nd-Party label. Either way, I expect to see their game. Maybe it's that Platinum thing? I was convinced that was Rising 2, but we'll see. Also, partnerships, plural. Amiibo in Skylanders? Gerstmann seems to think so, and it makes a lot of sense.

Also, IGN's Nintendo podcast is convinced that the Nintendo Digital Event will be mostly new games (most of which are on Wii U) because of all the other stuff Nintendo is doing around E3. So all the old stuff is relegated to Treehouse streams and whatnot. I'd like to agree, but I think back to 2012 where Nintendo had like five different presentations, all of which amounted to barely enough content for one mediocre press conference.

Also also, Tamaki of Unseen 64 fame (didn't you guys yell at him earlier in the thread?) claims that Hyrule Warriors for the 3DS was supposed to be revealed this week. So I guess that plus the 3DS micro-direct corroborates Nintendo's focus on Wii U during the Digital Event. Gotta get that 3DS stuff outta the way.

Say goodbye to that franchise if this were to happen.

That's a bit over dramatic. I'm sure if Microsoft paid for full exclusivity or did a huge percentage of the work in house that it would still be profitable for SE. To say that there isn't a chance of the game to sell well enough to continue a franchise that's been around since the original Playstation is ridiculous. If I recall Tomb Raider Anniversary wasn't lighting charts on fire when it came out and we still had the reboot come along. Though, it doesn't seem to matter much because there is little chance that it becomes full exclusive.

The fanbase for Tomb Raider has always been predominantly on PlayStation and, if we want to get region specific, sells better in Europe. Not sure if you've noticed, but Xbone is deader than dead in mainland Europe. Pulling the sequel away from these groups for 6 months was a sure way to shoot your bottom line in the first place. But to do it forever? Yeah, it would essentially be like the game never came out to the majority of Tomb Raider fans and that seems like a quick way to kill a rebooted franchise that wasn't all that heavily supported by the publisher in the first place.

If SE is ready to cash out now with no interest in the trade off in lost fans, then I guess they could do it.

We just got an update to episode duscae. We can fight dinosaurs. Are you not entertained!!!

The only update I want from episode duscae is the ability to download the damn thing in the first place.

I was watching on the spot at Gamespot, and Danny odwyer said that he has it on good authority that No Mans Sky won't be at E3.

the german playstation blog is currently playing a bet-game with its user, where they can bet on what will appear at Sony's E3 show
Maybe some hints for the show? Or only playing with our hearts...

Are we sure that Rare is working on only one game? I thought they were working on a couple at least. Maybe one will be shown at e3 and the other will be shown sometime later?

So bad that if this was it I'd almost be tempted to buy another Xbone just so I could sell it in disappointment again.

Seriously, actually announcing paying for a previously admitted timed exclusive to be permanent? Who benefits in that scenario?

I doubt a P5 2016 announcement would happen at E3. Their FAQ was recently updated to reiterate late 2015. Any delay wouldn't be in the conference itself, but a few months from now.

I didn't really follow the conversation on that topic but isn't MS publishing the game and funding it? Why should it be no permanent exclusive? And when was it announced to be a timed exclusive?

edit: ahhh this one: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...b-raider-xbox-exclusivity-deal-has-a-duration

reads like the timed part is only for the franchise not for that title in particular.

Square Enix: "partnership with Microsoft on Rise of the Tomb Raider does have a duration, but we aren’t discussing those details at this time and are focused on collaborating to deliver a great game on Xbox One and Xbox 360."

Don't have the links but there have been posts by reps confirmed it was timed, just not giving out information for how long.

The game would have been made without Microsoft's help, and was being made without Microsoft's help. The timed exclusivity deal happened sometime between e3 and gamescom last year.

Seeing as Tomb Raider sells better on Playstation consoles, and PS4 has an install base almost double the size of xbox one, it is extremely unlikely Microsoft dished out enough money for them to keep a game they were already developing for the ps4 off the platform.

Edit: Here's the Community manager's forum post confirming it's timed: - http://forums.eu.square-enix.com/showthread.php?t=155959&p=2127088#post2127088

Interesting how Sony announced and showed a few of their games that could have been at E3. It's almost scary to think how much they could potentially show. At this rate, I'm really starting to think The Last Guardian will be re-revealed.
