2nd day in a row I ask for help I know :(

But could someone please help me to resize this image to use it as an avatar?

Slight request twist: can anyone link me to a PS file of the rainbow effect so I can see how its done? Some of the effects done here, including the rainbow effect, are advanced for my level- especially like the new neogaf logo.

It's just adding a new layer with the rainbow colors and a layer mask if you want to shape it.

First open up the file in PhotoShop.

Then paste in your flag graphic and Add a layer mask to the flag graphic. That's the Japanese flag looking button.

Then duplicate your avatar layer, and use the fill command (Shift+F5 on Windows). Black, and make sure "preserve transparency" is checked.

Alt-click on the white layer mask to edit it, and then paste the black shadow in place.

That's going to get you something like this:

You can invert the color on the layer mask to reverse the effect. Then fill in more as you see fit. In this case, I painted more black over Margot's body so it'd just be her umbrella that's colored. Then I changed the layer blending type. In this case, Screen worked best, but usually I get good results with Multiply, Soft Light, Hue or Color.

I feel bad asking for anything more, but would it be possible for someone here to make it transparent like it was originally?

Crap, just realised I exported it wrong! Haha, sorry man! Looks like lillith has you covered though ;)

Yo uber, any chance of mine transparent? If it's a simple job that is, only going to rock it for a few days so don't go nuts!

I'm calling a conspiracy! Did you guys leave me with non transparent avatars or something? Other people got theirs transparent :D

I'll do it in the morning Ninja!

*EDIT* If you've got you original avatar image it'll be like a 2 second job. Drop it here if so.

uh oh, looks like the bg turned white for you. make sure you saved it as a .png and it should work?
OR
- Right click
- Copy Image Location (or similar)
- Paste url instead of uploading the img (Option 1)

Can somebody work some magic and make a transparent avatar from this screenshot I took from a video? I'm not that big of an expert, I think the best way to get a clean screenshot from a video is to download it and take it from the media player, right? Since it's a screenshot from a video, it'd help if there was a thin outline to the girl, to hide some of the jaggies (I think that's the appropriate term). Thanks in advance!
