Has anyone noticed if the patch took care of the stuttering music on the start screen? It's not the most urgent thing in the world I suppose, but it was driving me nuts.

Same, that is one of the things I am hoping was fixed. Not a big deal, but would be nice to have fixed.

We need gif of the new movement while waiting for the download to finish!

Oh.

7gigs? Goddam I just started the download via my vita and remote play. I thought it would be ready for me getting home in an hour. With my Internet 7gigs will take all night

Just a heads-up for all my fellow witchers! After installing 1.07, enhanced feline witcher gear now requires a level 23 character for both swords and armor versus a level 19 character for swords and a level 20 for armor. I'm currently level 20 and had the enhanced feline witcher gear equipped before installing the patch, so now if I remove my gear, I can no longer equip it until level 23. I've only seen this with the feline gear, but I'm assuming all of the witcher gear now has higher level requirements (perhaps matching the treasure hunt quests).

Interesting. Looks like upgrading Witcher gear may have higher level requirements in 1.07, according to this post.

Oh.

Odd. I'm at around 50Mbps download speed and I have 23 minutes left. Started downloading an hour ago as well. First I was getting an ETA of 28 hours. So I just paused and resumed the download after a few seconds. Nearly done now.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.
Here is a quick and shitty gif.

Geralt, stops on a dime now.

PS4 version, by the way. Framerate in town much better as well, as far as I can tell.

My download hit 80% on my Xbox and has slowed to a crawl. I wonder how many people they have pulling this update from both (PSN and Live) services?

Dunno if the gif is bad or the movements are unrealistic. I'm glad they gave us the choice, though.

Movement seems better. Feels more fluid and responsive. Pretty much like your typical third person game. Performance seems to have improved on ps4, at least in the bog. It's still not solid 30, especially when fighting, but the drops are less noticeable. Inventory is a lot faster to load between tabs. Overall seems like a great patch. Only played around for a few minutes, so take that in mind.

Thanks for the nice feedback.

Just started playing the patch. Had a quest marked as failed right when I loaded my save (Novigrad, Closed City), although I had totally finished it right like thirty hours ago.

I'm confused... why is this video only of him swinging the sword around? Is this the only place movement was changed? I was hoping for just normal .... you know.... moving around so he wouldn't feel like a damn tank.

He doesn't move like a tank anymore.

Ignore it. Probably just a interface bug that wont impact your main quest or trophies.

No, the movement change was general (he now turns and stops faster), but for me makes more difference in combat.
