Yeah, I suspect there will be another kickstarter, or maybe this is punishment for the disaster that is Red Ash.
Sometimes you have to give creators like Inafune time to let their creations come to life.
Wouldn't weird me if good part of the Red Ash kickstarter money was gonna be used to finish MN9 :V
Can't wait for the Kickstarter post
"Good News, Everyone! We made a new business deal where we'll get two times more funding if we delay the game until the next fiscal quarter!"
I made all that up, it's a joke
Isn't that what they did the first time? That and the game is done at this point, I can't think of why they need to delay it this time.Seriously though, I wonder if they are polishing it due to the negative feedback.

Redh Ash Stretch Goal: Get MN9 released this year at $2m
At least we have Mega Man Legacy Collection.
If the kickstarter fails for Red Ash, they're not going to see a dime.
It's really disheartening how poorly this is being handled. Now I just feel like they dug up the remains of the Legends series to kick it around again before dumping it back in.
Hype's still at maximum for Mighty No. 9, though. You couldn't pay me to not be excited.
That moment when Gamers realize what a publisher feels like when dealing with how much of an endless money blackhole Creatives can be if they are not controlled.
/s, but it is kinda cool that Kickstarter is putting donors in a similar position as publishers, but without any of the benefits like the profit which would result from a successful game release.
Didnt they say it was a mistake just a few days ago?
Now the question is will Jim Sterling do a video on all this or will Kyle do another one?
BUT CAN WE HAVE MORE MONEY THOUGH?
That is odd, as the game looked solid and well on its way from its E3 showing this year......
My bet is that either the Red Ash Kickstarter had some impact on Mighty No. 9's development (leading to its delay) or that the game really needs more time in the oven to be a stronger product (maybe improve its visuals to make it more-in line with the concept art they showed off).
Kyle?
It's been reported/listed that it was going to be delayed a lot lately.
That was the game in its final phase though.Well, that speed run video did look kinda rough
What sort of impact would the Red Ash KS have on Mighty No. 9??
we should ban that tweet because it adds nothing to the conversation and every inafune thread is a race to post that ancient thing again and again
First game I backed
Lesson learned.
