It still means the creative side of UC4 is nearly done, Nolan North is probably staying to ad-lib some gameplay voice work.

No, they used to hand-animate all the facial animations, this time they're using facial capture, and then editing-in the nuances that are typically found in ND's games.
Unlikely. It was already delayed from Holiday of this year.

and yeah I hope Elena has a bigger role in Uncharted 4 than 3. The same amount of screen time as U2 if not more.
Yup this and The Last Guardian is probably a holiday title with Horizon being sometime in Summer, probably August/September. They probably also have some unannounced titles.
It's already been delayed once. They won't delay it again. I'm sure they have some titles ready for 2016.

The only way a delay would happen if ND would tell Sony that they need more time, UC4 will sell, regardless of the time period it releases.
Delay the game just so forum dwellers can brag about a holiday release? If GAFers ran video game companies the industry will collapse within a year lol.
They also have Horizon & GT7 scheduled for 2016, with the possibility of GoW4 being announced at PSX for a 2016.

Hopefully they aren't influenced by message board "only the holiday period counts" nonsense.
It would move a ton of consoles as a holiday title and would be a good counter for gears 4. And doesn't releasing early in the year exclude you from many GOTY nominations? I'd imagine they want to grab those as well.

Just seeing this news and it sucks. Hopefully she gets another show soon. I just recently discovered it on Netflix and really liked it.
GT7 is a holiday game for sure. Better choice than Horizon for that spot(as far a being able to compete with other mega IPs).

Nope. They recorded only body motion and voice, and then tweaked body motion as needed and created brand new face animations by hand.

Gran Turismo is not a definite release, still no videos or images of it, could be a 2017 title for all we know.
ND could keep working on polishing the game and more content for multiplayer as well as beta testing.
Horizon is a new IP, it will be Q3. GT7 will be Q4.
Also, Morpheus was confirmed to launch in the first half of 2016.

First of all, Sony doesn't need AAA games to move consoles, 3rd party games will do a good job.
Sony is imo way smarter than Microsoft. Spread you releases and don't squeeze them into holiday season. Why would an early release exclude you from any GotY award, lol.
Kaz confirmed that it will release before 2017.
Also, Gran Turismo doesn't need more than 6 months between announcement and release, just like GT6.
Kaz also promised us the course maker for GT6, 2 years later still no show.

No they will release it when it is ready. They aren't sitting on a finished game for half a year just for holiday bragging rights.
A game is never finished, extra time can always be used for polishing.

You know exactly what I meant. Every game could be delayed indefinitely under that reasoning. Give me a legit reason why it should be delayed other than some stupid "pre-season" comments that some people have been buying into?
As far as GOTY awards TLOU took the majority of them over GTA5 even though it released in Q2 of 2013.
That's why it was delayed, the game is already wrapping up its motion capture, they're not gonna delay it 8 more months for absolutely no reason.
Because what's the point of releasing your best game in the dry season and then having nothing for the holidays when most people are ready to buy things.

Just...let it go.
Don't understand why the guy keeps insisting on this, especially since he was so anxious to have Sony actually release PS4 games a few threads back on a sales discussion:

Its only dry if you don't release anything for 9 months and then clump everything in last 3 months. People will buy it regardless of whatever month they release it in.
