It was announced last week, with the proper release date and all.

Not specifically for Europe so it was a nice surprise to see it, I hadn't expected it. I thought it was crossbuy but there's no sign of a PS4 version over here at least.

That soundtrack :swoon:

They did mention it'd be a simultaneous release. I think the price was the only unconfirmed point before today.

which game came out in the past ... hmm... 6 months or so? and was a VN with a really odd looking 'game part'.... maybe an RTS or something like that? Or maybe it looked a little like Frozen Synapse or something? I don't like VNs, but I remember thinking the 'game' part looked good. I don't think it reviewed particularly well. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters? That was a release within the last 6 months with a mix between Visual Novel and bizarre strategy-ish combat.

Has there been any news on that Japanese adventure (survival horror?) game that uses low poly-PS1 style characters? I always forget the name of it.

I finished the game yesterday, 2 hours. For 9€ I find it a bit pricey, more taking into account that I already have it on Steam but waited for the Vita release to play it.
To make it clear is not a bad game in anyway, and the ride it's a blast while it last.

The PS4 version of VVVVVV is up on the store now.

Maybe I'm spoilt, but pretty gutted it's not cross buy. It's a game I've played through and finished on PC (it was the first game I ever bought on Steam!), and having it on both PS4 and Vita would have been great. However, I just can't justify paying almost £15 for both versions. Will probably buy on Vita for my commute.

Would love to know how the prices are arrived at. Why is the PS4 version cheaper than the Vita one?

omg Fady K raining down the updates. Can't ever thank you enough, wish GAF had something like "Reddit Gold".

Haha glad you're having fun my friend - and you are most welcome :D Enjoy today's update above as well :D

Another great update Fady. I'd not heard of Crows: Burning Edge until now, glad to see it getting a VIta release. Really hope it turns out good...

Am I the only one who thinks this makes no sense or is a very cheap bait ?

Anyway, great update. Looking foward to Tokyo Xanadu.

no just agitated that my vita is getting no love from sony.
no attention at e3 etc.
i guess frustration.

But I mean... It's been like this forever now, it won't change overnight as much as we want it to. We get niche stuff and indies, that's it. No point in waiting or asking for more than that. I'm pretty happy with the system. Starting this Tuesday with Danganronpa, I can finally dust mine off, and look forward to at least one purchase for it each month until the end of the year.

Yeah that too. That feature alone is great since I prefer playing on a smaller screen while laying in bed, than having to sit on a chair by my desk looking at a TV screen lol.

I can't remember anything noteworthy announced at E3 since 2012. Although it's frustrating, I have no expectations from it.

PS Experience is the best bet. It was decent last year.

There have been a lot of solid releases since Terraria. I'm not sure Sony is the problem here -- you're missing out on plenty of great games.

There would be a flood of emails and she'd probably get in trouble with her boss. That was pretty careless of her.

Nah, no way. It's a comment email address for a reason. If she caused an avalanche of interest/communication she'd get applauded, not in trouble.

Looking forward to more info about Crows. I had to look into the backstory a bit when translating my initial report on it and it sounds really interesting. I might check out the manga.

I sent out a tweet about the Tokyo Xanadu stuff from the Gematsu account, so hopefully that'll get it some more attention. I translated pretty much every news release about that game, so it's fair to say I'm hyped. Though I never doubted XSEED would pick it up anyway.

Thanks for all the work you do with the site Sal, it's really appreciated.
