For me, the biggest problem is rather incorporating my left hand into doing different things rather than the color of the buttons (though I will 100% be switching them to PjD colors), I can't get my mind to process the directional presses fast enough in LOL.
The worst is when the direction is different than the button you're pressing. The WORST.

I just finished the demo (farewell, sweet demo due to one-time use in EU) and I'm not sure what to think. The reason for this is the control scheme, or rather the 3DS button layout. Having used a 360 controller frequently as of late is a huge issue, as not only are the buttons placed elsewhere but also differently colored. I constantly mixed up X and Y when I played. Also, the buttons and d-pad having different colors when supposed to be pressed at the same time is just irritating >___>'''

I did quite like the gameplay otherwise, though. But... I can't see myself getting past the button/color issues, even if they're supposedly customizable to a degree. Tap mode is much better for me.

The demo was a lot more fun than I expected. Easier than Project Diva F, but just as fun.

The X button destroyed me though, being blue like on the Xbox controller.

So I guess the one use limit in the European demo is a mistake?

Finally managed to perfect Senbonzakura on Hard button mode. The chart isn't even difficult (I have the PDF Extreme chart on lock) but being able to actually hit X all those times when a very misleading blue X shows up is a personal triumph.

Got the demo for myself yesterday (EU), had just 1 use as others have mentioned.
Got the demo today for my sister in her 3DS and she has 30 uses, though since I've already used mine yesterday, mine's still at 0 uses remaining...

Guess those of us (EU players) who already used the demo are out of luck?

Have you tried redownloading it?

It's almost impressive how they keep messing up anything download-related with this series in Europe. There was something wrong with almost every DLC update for F 2nd, too.

I'm way too used to the PS3/Vita's buttons, so I fuck up really bad on Hard with Button Mode. The charts themselves are easy, but I keep mixing up the buttons...

Slightly better in Tap Mode, but not as much as I should be. At least I was able to perfect Senbonzakura on Normal without the dang X's being there. Thank god for color changes!

Also, maybe it's just me, but I find it way harder to watch the PV while simultaneously playing in Mirai than in Diva.

Same here. Deep sigh.

It sucks especially because it would've been nice to practice on the jumbled face buttons before the full game hits.

Migu figure when GSC?:D

Also finally got around ordering this game via amazon, so I all set.^.^ Too bad this game comes out right after labor day weekend. Would have been great for the trip I might do.:/

So I got a chance to play my friend's import copy for like 20 minutes and I played some songs (Tricolore Airline and a few others I couldn't read), but she had to do some stuff so that was that, I'll keep asking her again til I get my copy though :p

Not enough to make up for the disappointment that was Megpoid the Music# on PSP.

I should ask for clarification I suppose (ie I'm newish to this stuff).

Maturity, bitches.
lol Sega.

Demo didn't really sell me on the game (and it's not like I can give it a second chance now due to that one usage limit). Found the songs too long for a rhythm game and the second song, LOL wasn't really that great.

They are the full length songs after all not edits like a lot of Project Diva songs. Overall I found the tracklist in this game to be preferable to F 2nd however (that might be a personal thing though).
One use demos sound insensible to me, what's the deal?!

Get it anyway for Shake it! and Arifureta Sekai Seifuku.

I agree the songs get too long though, I don't look forward to the 5 minute+ ones.

There was Gumi game on the PSP. Not by Sega, but by Internet Inc. themselves and some amateur studio. It was... bad. Really bad.
It is terrible. The interface is ugly as sin, not to mention confusing. The songs are pretty good, but the gameplay itself is shoddy. Some of the later songs and harder difficulties suffer from lag and 'off' notes, similar to some of the songs in K-ON! Houkago Live, only worse. No auto-save, ugly costumes... Just bad. Bad bad bad. It was a travesty, and Gumi deserved better.

Yeah... I can't believe I was excited for this abomination of a game when it was first announced :/ Good thing IA/VT actually seems nice. I wish there were more decent vocaloid rhythm games aside from the Sega ones.

I would so buy/play IA/VT if I had the budget. Alas, it's not meant to be right now.

That is too bad.
GUMI has, I guess, around 4-6 songs in Mirai DX. 2 which I got addicted.
Really would love to see a solo game for her.

Wish anything had Deco*27 Gumi songs.

Ever tried Groove Coaster. It has about 2 Deco*27 GUMI songs =P
Better than nothing

Is it just me or is it much easier to get cools in touch mode instead of button mode ? Have the impression that timing is more strict in button mode.

Which ones specifically did you get addicted to? :p

Matryoshka, which is a Miku + GUMI song.

And 1 2 Fanclub, which GUMI sings most of the song.

I believe that the timing is more lenient for the touch mode for some reason or another (or maybe no reason).

Also I like both of those songs a lot, I've been trying out the extreme version of both in fact...

Too bad that it isn't all songs that have 4 difficulty options.

I believe touch mode is more lenient because, well... touch. Rhythm Thief was the same way. Think they do it since tapping a screen is not as instantaneous as the press of a button.

I feel that Touch Mode is somewhat harder for me because I don't have 2 styluses, I feel like I'm missing out with just one...

Quite right, I was tired when I typed that thanks for the help.

One week, and this game will be released. I don't wanna believe it. I was gutted after the first delay. Do not do it again, SEGA. Don't you DARE.
