can anyone access the store (AU) on ps3?

Keeps saying 'error occured', prior i had to update it to a new version too...

Last year, during a SE investors meeting, before SaGa's announcement, they explicitly said they were going to support the Vita with more games and we're seeing it right now. It doesn't seems that weird that they have certain games that will push the platform. They have a bajillion already announced for the ps4, do they really need another one? It's most likely gonna be just a waste of money for Japan. It's not exactly a smart business decision either, they'd keep pushing themselves into an expensive home console development environment only.

Well, let's hope you're right about all this. I've loved following Vita sales in Japan and a higher-profile exclusive like this would be interesting to see.

OT: That new Blue Vita is awesome. Wonder if it'll come to Europe, might have to dive in.

I dunno if this was common knowledge, but Space Hulk is releasing today (released today?) on Vita. There's screenshots and gameplay footage here:

EU release is September 25th I believe, and there's a physical cart in Europe.

In the meanwhile I managed to get the Xeodrifter demo. Not bad except for the fact that the height of your jumps isn't related to how you press the jump button :/ hopefully the game is at least properly designed around that..

Most pleased to find out that the Hundred Knights Rebirth JP demo has dual audio and subs. And then there's the US Disgaea 5 demo today, yum.

And PSN seems to be working again.

I keep forgetting Tearaway is next week. Damn it.

Was going to get the CE but the Atoi plush looks horrible. Would have been nice to go with my Sackboy plush.

I'm excited for Super time force. Never heard of the game until recently. Is it a single player only game, or does it have multi, anyone know?

Those new Vitas are certainly more interesting looking than the "old" colored 2000s since they were just colored in the back so now, at least, you can tell they're different without turning them around. The new colors are pretty meh, though. I liked the pink/black model.

It's a single player only game. No multiplayer, though with the time rewinding mechanic and multiple respawns, this game in multiplayer would be completely insane and I want it now.

MGSV and Pirate Warriors 3 are on their way, still playing Bloodborne, Ground Zeroes, Rocket League and Oreshika. And will start Steins;Gate soon. Should be enough for most of September, I think.

So excited for Danganronpa.

Oh, and first post here. I bought a Vita a month ago, loved the Danganronpas and now I'm almost done with P4G.

Funny how the I beat the first Danganronpa just a month before the second came out in the US, after buying it on sale in August. And now that Ultra Despair Girls has come around, I'm almost done with DR2! Funny how things work out, wouldn't it be great if this pattern held and just a year from now DR3 comes out? Maybe it's possible, after all Ultra Despair Girls was co-developed, right? Perhaps they worked on DR3 on the side while working on the spin-off.

BTW, anyone have any suggestions for what yo get in the "Retro sale" that ends in two hours? I was thinking of maybe The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, but I've never played a Megaman Legends game before.

Edit:

To pariah164, nice avatar, Ibuki's one of my favorites in DR2!

I just don't get the appeal of rhythm games.

New orange Vita looks dope.

Add me to team 'dope'. The black border doesn't bother me, and I think I'd prefer my screen surrounded by black over orange for contrast while playing.

That said, my white oled vita is the only vita.

DR3 is confirmed in development. There's a chance we might see it announced on the TGS

Thanks! Ibuki is my favorite DR character period, next to Celeste.

And I suggest Rogue Legacy and Steamworld Dig from the retro sale. Both are pretty great, depending on what you look for in a game. Rogue Legacy is a roguelike with a lot of grinding involved, yet is still fun and humorous, and Steamworld Dig is a crafting, mining, solve puzzles with a steampunk robot adventure.

Games are Free on the US Store. Grow Home seems to be the only one missing .

It's now up, as well! 865MB of stumbling goodness!

Plus it looks like there's a possible Atlus sale in NA this week, not much on the sales page (so far), though.

The discount on Armello and Zombie Vikings is 30%, both games are $13.99. That's a great new release discount, I hope all of the non-vote winners are like that every month.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood have a 50% discount for PS+

Edit:
I see that the original Destiny game has been removed from PSN and only the new Taken King version is available for preload.
Is this something new or when did this happen?

Has this been discussed before?

I think I was skeptical of the DR2 cast before I started, but I'm in Chapter 6 now, and I'd say they are actually a better cast than DR1's IMO. A little more unconventional, and their extra conversations seemed to evolve to fit the ongoing narrative better, which made them more impactful for me, notably Fuyuhiko's final hope fragment. If only somehow everyone in these games could survive :'<.

On those suggestions, that's what I would have said in your place, since I already have both :). Got Rogue Legacy from sale and Steamworld Dig from PS Plus. I actually haven't gotten really anywhere in Steamworld so as per your suggestion, I should get to it, but I've played more than like 85 hours of Rogue Legacy, it's awesome. And that was basically all within the month that I got it, I basically only played that for weeks straight. I really hope they make a sequel to expand on its systems, would be glorious.

Altus sale, Neptunia games on sale, Natsume Fishing game on sale.

Thanks for the heads up, my Vita is customized for MGSV right now, but I've downloaded this theme and will be using it whenever I get back to DR2. I tries valiantly to beat it before V, but alas, even though I sped through Chapters 3-5 in about 1 or 1 and a half weeks, it wasn't enough. I've gotten to (Chapter 6 Danganronpa 2 spoilers, seriously)
Hope's Peak Academy(?)

That pretty much sums up Sony's efforts towards Vita lately, though. i.e. other people's games.

Personally, I was really disappointed in TGS 2014 for Vita. Apart from Ukiyo no Roushi and Luminous Arc Infinity, I can't really remember anything that got me excited, and I remember thinking it was a big step down from the previous two years.

So if anything, I'm expecting more of the same this year. Anything extra we get is just a bonus.

It's pretty clear that at this point in its life, Vita is just a tool to get PS4 support in Japan to Sony (I'm fairly certain things like Exist Archive; Grand Kingdom etc. are Vita games which are being ported to PS4 due to a bit of pushing from Sony; and I seem to remember Ys 8 & Esitval Versus were already confirmed as such).

So third party stuff is all I really look forward to these days, because there's plenty out there that still want to make games for the machine. Although many of them aren't the type to really announce stuff at TGS (i.e. Compile Heart; NIS; Gust etc. have already announced their stuff).

Wait, why's Super Time Force Ultra 1GB on Vita and 611MB on PS4? Seems odd that the version with lower res assets would be bigger.

Guess I'll be trying out the Disgaea 5 demo today since Danganronpa won't be arriving til tomorrow.
