My Titan is Light 258 at the moment. I'm currently leveling Sunbreaker, but prefer Defender. Is it worth buying An Insurmountable Skullfort? I know it's meant for Strikers. Currently using a blue 252 Defense helmet (no other exotic armor). I just want to get to the point where I can run heroic strikes ASAP. I'm already close, the the extra light from Xur's helm will help me get there. Currently have access to 32 strange coins.

Was that the mission in vog where u fight the Hydra at the end? I thought that was one of the best. And the boss fight is by far my favorite boss fight in a mission

Double Melting Point charges dude. Combine with Monte Carlo for the ultimate boss melting build.

Once, yeah. I was trying to navigate the 'platforms', a term I use vaguely at best.

I gave up on that after

1) I made my way down but lost a bunch of health from misjudging which muddy texture was a flat surface, and which was slightly sloped at a negative-4% grade, which would send me hurling forward, away from the cliff, with no boost to soften my fall.

2) I made my way to the bottom and managed to survive with a bit of health, only to immediately be shot by a Taken goblin upon 'landing'

So I just hail married it, swan dived off and tried to time the jump jets as best I could. I survived, ran for cover and moved on.

But yeah, I was frustrated with the level design, lol.

The battles were all fine, solo. It's just the stupid 'hey, we're going to be clever and include some platforming, but oh ****, we are terrible at designing platforming and always ****ing have been'. Bungie gonna Bungie.

I dunno, they've been dropping like crazy for me. Even without those 27 I'm pretty sure I've made more SCs this week than any other before.

Bought 1 engram for hunter and 1 for Titan. Got Empyrean Bellicose for my Titan. (Blegh) My Hunter got Graviton Forfeit. (Fuck Yeah!)

That's just the intended design of VoG. You just hurl yourself off and use your double jump before impact. You've never gone that way before? ;_;

Bought the Impossible Machines. This will go great with my Apple of Discord and it's rolled abilities.

I also got Light Beyond Nemesis, which is 290 defense. It's pretty much the same. Also got Mask of the Third Man.

So much for getting Year 2 exotics. I did buy some Three of Coins though. Gonna try them again.

I have. Maybe I just misread the cues. In VoG, the part where you descend has multiple platforms to aim for. So I was looking for the same.

It's fine. I'm past it. I just felt like venting as I work through the free bottle of rum I got today.
