Why? They won't be exclusive to the console, you can just pick them up too.

I'm in the same boat. Kind of stupid to relaunch this franchise without extra instruments for sale.
I'm certainly not gonna pick this up and have my girlfriend watch me play guitar, or visa versa. we want to play together and are not interested in drums, or whatever else.
Also, $74.99 Canadian is an insane price for stand alone rhythm game. Not to mention $1.99 DLC, that was supposed to be half off until the 6th!?
Want to support this game, but they're making it very hard too.

If you played on Xbox, you can check all your 360 purchases on Xbox.com. Xbox Settings -> Manage devices -> See Xbox 360 purchase history. Note that the page loads as you scroll further down.

Let me check and get back to you. I know I have a Guitar Hero drum set and a wireless RB drum set but not sure if buying the new band in a box thing or not. Plus I have no idea what a reasonable offer is for this stuff lol.
Please feel free to pursue other offers because I'm embarrassingly slow at this stuff. Having a new baby and busy job will do that...

It looks like I'll have to wait to get it, though (I think their last implication is that the preorder bonus tracks will be up as non-exclusives soon, but not necessarily on the day of release). I just really want to play that song.

Best Buy still says my Disc + Adapter XBONE version won't be available until Thursday. Screw em. I am going first thing when they open and seeing if there are shenanigans. If not, I will buy it somewhere else, then just get it at BB with the GCU discount and return that one to the first retailer I find it at. I am not waiting two days to play, especially since I conveniently have Wednesday and Thursday off.

Cool, thanks. I searched all of my downloaded songs for their availability and I'm seeing 47 songs that I have in RB3 that are NOT available for RB4. This leads me to a few questions, not sure if anyone knows the answers, but wanted to ask anyway:
1. Are Red Hot Chili Peppers ever going to be in Rock Band 4? That's a huge chunk of my missing list and it's depressing since I spent a lot of money on the albums...
2. Another big chunk of my list is the bonus songs that came with Rock Band 2. I.V. by X Japan is one of my favorite songs in the franchise, so does anyone know if these will be coming when Rock Band 2's export songs are made available?
3. Are all the other missing songs just completely reliant on the rights being there again? Is there any hope for them? I love the drum parts on BYOB and Toxicity, so I'll miss those... I assume Metallica songs are never coming back because Activision... :/
4. Finally, does anyone know if there is plans on making Rock Band 3 supported on Xbox One via the upcoming backwards compatibility? Since you download 360 DLC via that option, that'd be a nice way to be able to play old songs not supported in RB4...

Some delisted songs are up.. and purchasable at that. but if you already own them it still gives you a price to pay :|

Actually that's just about every store I believe. I got in to work today to check out the info about a delay. GameStop is not getting the adapter bundle till 10/9. Also there are some BiaB bundles that are missing the game. Stores are doing their best to get replacements but some individuals might experience some delays on that as well. If you want to be sure you are good, call your local GS where you have your pre-ordered BiaB
I still got RB1 and RB2 but I'm really boned to getting a new copy of RB3.

I'm so fucked if I get the new Xbox experience after launch Tuesday. Because you can't change your status while pending into the program and once you get the update you will have to whipe everything to revert back. Meaning I would have to redownload all my songs. I hope RB4 is patched before the update gets pushed to my system

Amazon e-mailed to tell me two lovely things. The first being the delay of my order until the 12th-14th and that the bundle is now 349.00 Canadian.
Might have to wait on picking this up, unfortunately.
I don't think I can afford to spend that much on one game, regardless of how much time I'm going to spend with it.
Unless I sell some games to EB and pick it up there instead.

I hope this is the case, I've set aside the original asking price. I'll contact customer service to make sure, I'm worried because I still have yet to receive an e-mail and Amazon.ca has screwed me in the past. As for it shipping out a week later, I have no idea how to change that. Shipping speed is set to priority.

They only send emails about price drops (at least on the .com side of the border) once an order has shipped. Any drops along the way are reflected without notification. For instance, I pre-ordered Age of Ultron on Blu-ray for $22.99, but they charged me $19.93 since that was the lowest price after I placed my order, and I didn't get an email to let me know.
What they list as the current price on the item page doesn't matter. It's what shows up in your order history / invoice that counts.
Reading the pre order price guarantee....using halo 5 as an example. It says only about price decreasing, nothing about increasing. So if the price lowers and you pre orderd at a higher price you'll get the lowest even if they have to refund you. But NOTHING about protecting you about price increases

Try to find a RB4 PS4 unboxing. see if it uses a usb dongle or native bluetooth.
either way... the answer is PROBABLY no... but who knows with harmonix
The new instruments use native Bluetooth so no they won't work with the PS3.

Well, so I managed to fix my RB2 guitar and decided to pre-order digitally. All is good now.
Except I'm confused as heck on the legacy download. I go to the PSN store and some stuff says unavailable, some stuff tells a price and I don't recall if I bought the track or not.
I hope RB4 has a better way to tell you which tracks you own and are pending to be downloaded.

Also makes me happy to see the RB4 BIAB bundle being number two in Xbone games on Amazon. I am annoyed, however, that the Legacy Adapter isn't apparently going to get here until Thursday.
Amazon also fucked up my USB HUB order and other stuff for RB because they insist on using USPS.
