I want to see Gafgarion and Wiegraf from FFT, but there's a huge pool of great characters to choose from that game.

Is it sad to say this is my favorite FF game since FFXII? I'm straight up addicted, especially now that I can do events up to at least their memory crystals.

Ramza is the most likely first candidate for sure. There's a good cast so i'd imagine we'd see a couple.

Any ideas over the FFXI content? I never played that game. All i've heard are the horror stories about Absolute Virtue and Pandemonium Warden.

It'll be nice to bring Terra back into the fold. Her enhancer was the first character weapon I ever pulled but I maxed her out when we first got her so she's been on the bench for a looong time.

I love FFT; can't wait for that event.

FFT is cool, so I'm excited for that, but I'm more excited for the stand alone FFII event! Something we'll actually get!! :D

I hope the FFII event comes with a bunch of buffs for the cast too.

*raises hand* Played about 6 years.

Shantotto is definitely going to be in it, she is always the default FFXI representative in crossover games and is certainly popular enough. She is a BLM and would probably be similar to Vivi or Lulu, not sure if they'd give her anything else.

Prishe would be a high pick as well, especially if they do two characters. She is a MNK/WHM and would likely be 5* in both of those at least.

Beyond that i am not sure, there are a lot of hopefuls. Lisette and Aphmau were both in Curtain call. (Listette is a dancer so she'd have stuff to do right away, Aphmau is a puppetmaster so she's iffy).

For guys, there's Zeld (Galka DK) who was in multiple story missions, and Shadowlord (not gonna spoil it) but none of the FFXI guys made the cut for Curtain Call or Dissdia so I dunno who they'd pick first.

There was a fanfest event a long time ago that had both a set of the popular female NPCs and the popular male npcs as opponents. I assume any of those guys/gals would have a chance too (I know Shantotto and Prishe were in the girl's team).

I will welcome Minwu with open arms. The first named White Mage of the series (and one of the only male at that).

As for FFXI: I want Naja Salaheem and her little spiky friend.

Lion is rather important in the vanilla/Zilart stories as I recall. And FFRK loves its thieves.

They're easy to prepare for, but the stupid boss summary makes absolutely no mention that their magic hits like a god damn truck. 2,500-4,000 single target. A little warning would have been nice. Now I have to redo it because I had to guess between shell and protect and I guessed wrong.

AHAHAHA I was just about to post this. Good luck if you don't pre-cast Boon on wave 2/3.

At least the timing with Haste works out that you can rotate Magic Break(down) on all 3 of them with 1 guy and keep 100% uptime.

Definitely - Thanks for the heads up! I managed to beat them using Sentinel RW and Stoneskin to mitigate, although medals took a nosedive (scraped Mastery for it). I ran out of defensive buffs towards end and Thundaga was hitting my Golbez (63) for 3000!

I was going to post this, but Razmos beat me to the punch.
Now, the question would be the following: when will it occurs? During Orb Festival? If it occurs during Orb Festival, then we will maybe have 4 chances to make a pull.
Do note that while you can pull any 5* character relic from this Lucky Relic Draw, there is no guarantee to get a 5* at all (as always).

Oh, I hope that's where they're putting the Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy IV relics that got skipped over.

I'll definitely blow some Mythril on that.

This is why I have crappy synergy in most realms... because I always pull on FF6 banners because it's the best game. My FF6 synergy is pretty ridiculous, as a result. I should've kept Mog in with my Golden Spear, though (another 5-star FF6 item). I wasn't paying attention and thought Wrexsoul was vulnerable to holy--rather than absorbing it--so I put a healer in with more mind for Diaga nukes. Would've contributed more damage that way. Alternatively I could've equipped an esper on Eiko. I opted to use Celes over Cloud as my spellblade. Her resistance stat is better for all this magic damage, and synergy gets her attack power close enough anyway.

Reading on reddit, apparently someone at DeNa loves Freya, as she's the anti-Kimahri: 5 Dragoon, 4 Celerity, 4 Support, and her default SB is Regen-All.

Oooh, that is an awesome skillset! 4* Support is a godsend, more front-row support users is always good. That Regen-All SB makes her very interesting for Elite paintings and Boss rushes.

See Khimari? That's what an awesome Dragoon looks like!

I don't know if you'd want to combine Draw Fire with a Jump skill. I'd think Draw Fire wouldn't work if the user is in the air when the enemy attack goes off.

Just had my best pull on the Japan server, Freda's Spear a garnet rod and two ix veil things. Better than even my best intl pull, my first with guard stick tow j staves and two regal gowns.

Agreed. Reflect completely trivialized that battle once I figured to use it.

Three Stooges caught me completely off guard too...I even had Gladiator and Ricard in my party hunting their RMs and no healing what so ever. Managed to s/l eventually and finishing with the two of them ko'd. Lost 5 medals over all but the rounds up to it scraped a master.

Now I'm finished with Terras event I need to get back to Belias. I have had no trouble with any of the bosses so far in comparison to this one. Any recommendations? I beat the story version no problem but it didn't have break resistances. Have R3 Waterja (would have been R4 but phone lag honed Thundaja instead which annoys me no end.) a R4 Waterga and R3 Waterga. A kaiser shield which has XII synergy and protectga (Ashe can wear it which is nice.) Other than that I've been trying to mage meta it and had a few goes at advantaliate and keep falling short. Advantaliate because I take too much damage and mage meta I can't dish it out fast enough. Tried with mental Breakdown, tried bringing dispel...nothing seems to work. Could anybody post the team they used to master it?

Four 5s in one pull? That's pretty sick.

I'm tempted to pull something from this when I get to 50 again but I pulled Beatrix and Quina's weapons during the birthday celebration for the JP version. So I'm probably OK for FF9 for now.

I'm in a FF4 dungeon right now so the synergy isn't showing, but the main FF12 weapons are the Danjuro that Sephiroth is wearing, and the rod Ashe has is a 4*+

RMs are
Vaan: Sky Pirate's Pride
Ashe: Attunement II (you could use Rod Master here too)
Garnet: Double Hit
Cecil: Zeal
Sephiroth: Fraternal Knowledge

RW was Advance.

Sephiroth was doing around 5k per hit. I usually lose 3 medals but that's enough for Mastery.

It really is a mitigation check since virtually everything he casts is AOE.

Everything that reduces incoming damage will help you win. Break resist or not, you really want Break(downs) on him, plus Shellga/Protectga.

Advance/Retaliate actually helps you with this since you can dedicate far more ability slots to mitigation rather than cramming a bunch of water spells.

(That being said I watered his face in)

When is this coming?

I just started last week and accumulated over 150 mythrils.

I've hit the wall hard though and can't do anything except run hard level daily quest. Really need a major upgrade in equipment.

The fact it has been translated now and mentions phases means it will probably come during the Orb Festival, which should be in about 2 days.

With this half-price pull event and the orb festival you chose a good time to start the game :p

Yea I got closest with advantaliate so far. Always had breakdowns and shell going. I have the danjaro too and my team was similar...could just be that I was packing too many double cuts. Bit afraid to not have sentinel grimore as RW too.

I got lucky and didn't eat too many Fires or Firajas. Physical mitigation is important, and you definitely should Slow him, and reapply when necessary. It helps.

Oh man. I was able to finish Headhunter Scuffle ++ quite easily, but forgot stop was one of the requirements and thus only got expert.

Yeah I got to that fight and when they started hitting me for that much damage I was like "fuck this shit". I quit, equipped Eiko with Carbuncle and Kirin and then went back and went to town on them. Only one medal lost for actions.

I haven't done a pull in forever. I've used some mythril to increase slots but I'm 100% holding off for this event.
