Strange, as I read the PS4 version was sent to reviewers, and on that review you linked it says:

But on the right hand box it says:

A couple of people mentioned that some review packs came with all versions, so maybe they tried both and got confused.

"We could've saved half of our people if only we could pick (hell, maybe blow it up) or hack the gate. And we have a technician and tons of weapons at our disposal. But we didn't therefore we lost all those man for nothing.

Now that you're here, we're saved!"

I like your games with their open-worlds and do-whatevers but damn Bethesda! I mean, I know, you're the player, you have to do something but couldn't they at least wrap it around a bit more compelling story as to why they couldn't get to the fusion core.

I'm just sad.

I feel sorry for all those folk who cancelled their PS4 versions for Xbox versions (if they really did) if the initial DF analysis is anything to go by.

Oh reading this thread has been fun.

I guess at the end of the Day it's a new Bethesda game, there's gonna be issues from the offset, some will get fixed, some won't. Tempted to pick this up on the PC, but should wait till I get back from my hols.

Doh!

Sounds like I may have made a mistake going for the Xbox One version over the PS4 version. Hopefully installing it on a SSD might help out some of the streaming issues on the Xbox One.

Also 0fps! That's a new one.

pixar-level of animation skill here guys

Holy shit that's hilarious and tragic.

Im sure they will fix the stuttering issues guys. It got fixed for the witcher on ps4 so it is fixable.

Me personally I am glad I went for PS4 version.

Figured this would run the worst on PS4. I just had a hunch.

So if this runs better on XB1 can we finally start to talk about MS marketing deal shenanigans because this would make it 100%. The other games that ran better on XB1 all had marketing deals but anytime anyone brings it up they get a tinfoilhat.gif thrown in their face.
According to Digital Foundry, the PS4 fares better overall.

Sounds like from the digital foundry article a 750ti performs better (and from what I gather my 570 is basically equivalent to that). Probably gonna go PC

do you think anyone actually did that? I doubt it

Not a lot of people will with one day left until it launches. If this shit came out last month, you'd see a turn of events I'm sure.

Maybe people here will say the bugs and glitches don't exist just like in the Witcher 3.

Always remember the Besthesda logo means a lot of glitches, poor performance and a few handfuls of game breaking bugs. Most of which will never get fixed unless you are on a PC because somebody else will do it for them.

How hard is it to provide a resolution setting on consoles?

Just cancelled my pre-order. Learned my lesson after Bioware completely ignored the cutscene micro stuttering in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

More like not that strong consoles maybe? It's not like they are not going to improve both versions with patches.

If your game runs like this on a console, you botched optimization completely.
Also games don't get judged on the prospect of future patches. Bethesda certainly has a bad track record when it comes to that as well.

Might not be the most technically proficient, and I'm going to get skewered for this, but I have fun with Bethesda stuff.

Really though I find myself wishing that they'd polish it up a bit, because it sounds like this is coming off as "ship it, it's good enough". I'm a pessimist, so I think the bar of "good enough" is going to keep getting lower.

Will see what happens with the reactions from Bethesda to the issues and go from there.
