You keep whatever you've got already. It's just a useful tool for collecting duplicates or if you nudged a badge into an un-catchable position.

Helping Nintendo invest in new badges that you can then buy too.
They're badges you just place on the screen like other badges. You'll have to squirrel away the default ones into a folder or something.
Won't spend a penny on this.

Yeah. If you open up one of those apps from notifications, it will use the default one. Kinda annoying.

This is quite fun. I love how they allow you to choose from a fair number of badges, so everyone walks away with one they like.
Found out that the practice badges refresh once you clear all of them within the five free tries, which is nice. Haven't perfected the art of chain reactions though, so it is good that they let you practice a few times every day.

I guess I see the value of this software from an aesthetic point of view but why is like a slot machine? I guess that's sort of a dumb question given how they are trying to get money from you.

So far I've earn three free plays in every practice run.
The first day I got a badge with +3.
The second day I got 26 badges in practice so I had 30 total practice and got 3 practice tries.
Is there anyway to bank the tries you win or do you have to use them right then?

I tried this out today. Don't understand the appeal, but my home screen is cluttered enough as is. I'm just not going to pay nintendo for virtual stickers.
I don't like the pay model, but my interest for this is in the badges that I can put on my folders to better identify their contents (ie - a GameBoy icon instead of the letter G on the folder with my GB VC) and the replacement app icons.

I got all of the Splatoon badges in the one category, so that was cool. By spending another dollar I got a free theme. So it's cool that you do get something out of playing twice a week at least.
Just wait until they bring out new Badges tomorrow.

So I guess it's not guaranteed to have bonus plays in the practice round, as I got all the badges today but there was no blue or red bulls eye behind any of them.
Still earned a free play for collecting over ten practice badges and scored three new permanent ones, two 1-up Mushrooms and a Yoshi Egg.

Aw man. Got 2 free plays today and I got lucky enough to get all the other ones on the LBW faces panel (the one with the big Ravio) except link in one try... and then I grabbed the Link. But apparently grabbing it with the left prong was a mistake as it flung it back into the center.
Since the Ravio is big and in the way, that may make that a dicey one to complete later, but I shall stay strong and not throw more money into the machine until there's more free themes...
(Also, for people like me who have an already full home screen... that's what the ability to switch layouts is for...)

Game is like the real UFO machine, its really addictive. Luckly for me, my 3DS goes low on power after all my free tries lol...
After using your $2 worth of paid pulls, they guide you to the theme shop and give it to you.
Once you make $2 worth of purchases, bunny also gives you the option to buy pulls in increments of 10 instead of 5
In the Japanese one, after a while, you can double the plays you can buy (with no boost to cost), but I haven't been able to find a way to reduce that so now I have to spend 180 Yen for 10 plays whenever I play.
