KenOD

a kinder, gentler sort of Scrooge
NightCry, the spiritual successor to Clock Tower that is being directed by the same guy who directed Clock Tower 1, having the monster design be done by Masahiro Ito (of Silent Hill 2 fame), music by Nobuko Toda (of Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, & Halo fame), and also being helped by the guy who worked on the Ju-On/Grudge films... That got an update, so post a few of the things here since it's coming to PC (and very likely Steam).

Excellent. I always feel the world needs more Clock Tower like titles.

What is this and is it good?

Kamen Rider W.

If you like transforming superheroes fighting against people who transform into monsters, aye, it's one of the stronger ones out there to enjoy. Bit of a comedic take on Japan's idea of hard boiled detectives (there are more than a few The Long Goodbye references), underworld criminal activity (as kid friendly as drug equivalent can be), and plenty of live action cartoon fighting that kid's toku is known for.

There are English subs to the show out there if you wish to find it, simple search should do it for you.

W is pronounced "double" here for the record. It's a Japanese language quirk. W the show, Double the Rider. You'll get why that's a pun in the first episode.

Imagine.

You're sitting in Cinema.
Watching Warcraft.
The movie is good.
The credits start rolling.
The credits end.
A message is fading in.

"Warcraft 4, coming christmas 2017."

Game is not essential. I wish that Steam had Dead On The Money and the other games in that series because they used the real voice actors and had more actual gameplay. I only played the first one a long time ago.

It's still better than a lot of Telltale games.

I mean, ugh, those two CSI ones... Or motherfucking Bone.

So about 8 hours until Syndicate unlock time, assuming the countdown is correct.

Perfect time to sleep, and then be all fresh for some Syndicate.

Eh, Legacies is worth the playthrough if you're a fan of the series. Is pretty average yeah, but the game does succeed at being a interactivo version of the show, the pacing, writing and even the camera angles used are quite in-line with the show.

The court part of the game was pretty entertaining as well.

Sorry about the formatting. I wanted to try a Trivia giveaway.

If you don't know what the game is then you almost certainly don't have the correct answer. The clues are specific; you should not have to guess the answer.

We found out the game wasn't fun so we scrapped it. We're making a FPSRTS though, look forward to it

You need to get down with the kids. Now a days it's A MOBA With Buildings!

Oh please Blizz stick that on the box for any future RTS games.

@NintendoAmerica We're so proud of you right now. If only Mario paid as much attention to his Princess' location as he did his Mustache.

Since that guy/girl took over Sonic account twitter became so much better place :D

Ok, here's a first in videogames for me... in Fallout 4, I kill everyone in a settlement, take over it and had to clean up by dragging all the bodies into a ditch outside town.XD

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
So I've been putting Enhanced Steam through it's paces on a regular basis but Mozilla is being maddeningly slow with rolling out features for it's WebExtensions APIs. As best as I can tell, this bug is the one that's critical to getting most things working, but there hasn't been any updates on this in over a month.

Browsing through Mozilla's own "are we there yet?" page is depressing.

Although it did lead me to find this interesting bug report. ;)

If it's like the rest then 40

Most Kickstarter backers paid $40 for it and final release prices are usually a bit higher than what backers paid. I actually got in on the $30 early bird tier and I was pretty pleased about it all year until Steam finally implemented local currency support. Now it's probably going to release in my Store for something like $15-20 so I figure I might as well get rid of the Kickstarter key and buy it for less directly on Steam. Or alternatively I might consider getting the Vita version since I bought one the other day.

Is there any movement on Mozilla relaxing their requirements for addons or are they going full steam ahead with their old plans?

I remember AMC doing a promotion where they gave out demo discs of Warcraft 3 when Lord of the Rings was in theaters

times were so much simpler back then

Mozilla will be keeping their addon signing policy as planned. However, they have a new (supposedly automated) system in place for simply signing addons that are hosted elsewhere. When I signed the latest version of Enhanced Steam for Firefox, it took about 24 hours to get approved (as opposed to a few weeks, that's not bad).

The nice thing about this new initiative is that, once everything is implemented properly, I should be able to add a few lines of code to the manifest.json file and repackage the extension for use in Firefox. Meaning the Firefox version of Enhanced Steam will be identical in functionality to the Chrome version.

Mozilla says they're "still a few months" away from this being released in a stable build though. Guess I'll just keep checking in with them and testing my code against the nightly build once a week or so until it can actually be made to work.

seems like the indie version of ticking all the boxes

They're even redundant, I mean, a roguelike have procedurally generated levels by definition. Nowadays is the only thing that defines roguelike after everyone started using it to describe their games even if they aren't roguelikes.

I thought it's Hitman Absolution and forced Messiah to try it out for me.
Guess i was wrong. :[

Because of the 4 and 7 being different? I noticed that on the first day, but since I'm not interested in Absolution I entered with a guess of "Prey 2" just in case.

Well it's good to hear that ES functionality might come back to Firefox at some point. Unfortunately I use other addons as well where the authors probably won't bother or even be able to sign them so they're going to become useless :(
