Does anyone know what the requirements for wielding the Moonlight Greatsword are? Like do you need a whole bunch of arcane?

So which is it?
I would think that it is added the way myco666 describes it.

The way you get there is slightly obtuse (nowhere near as bad as DS1 DLC). While it is possible to stumble on the DLC area it's very clearly sectioned off. The game doesn't naturally take you through there.

Nevertheless, let me restate the question, rather than field insults from rude people.

Is there anything in The Old Hunters that is worth playing for players that have no interest in playing the end game of Bloodborne?

edit: my mistake, it wasn't because of invisible enemies. I was thinking of something else.

Nevertheless, Yahar'gul, Unseen Village.

You could have just used the second secret shortcut to skip the whole area straight to the boss.

New areas, bosses and weapons in general.

Imo, not really. Unless you just want new weapons. Also it's difficult to go through.

So, is the DLC safe to pre-order in NA directly on PS4 ?

Couple hours ago I read someone's pre-order got canceled by Sony.

Well it is supposed to be the hardest content avaible in the game so if difficulty is the reason you stopped it might not be worth it.

No. Sell game, be happy.

As in not beating the final bosses and getting credits? Yeah the bosses and weapons and spells are plenty reason to get it, you might even get spoiled on the cooler stuff when playing online with people that have the dlc.

You picked up the old hunter bell which appears on the steps in the hunters dream which is what let's you summon the new npcs.

Goddamnit that was hard to quote and not read the spoilers :p I don't want to know where he is! I'll find him :p I know re: the Old Hunter's Bell, I just meant in response to the OP - I thought it read at first that the covenant enabled the NPC summons, but have re-read it and realise it's referencing the patch in general as The League. Thought for a second there were more covenant specific NPCs.

What insults?

Anyway that's hard to say. It's more locations, weapons and bosses. If you have already had your fill then prob not.

Is the theme you get from preordering the DLC the same as the PS+ exclusive theme or the theme you get from the Collector's Edition strategy guide?

Wish I wasn't balls deep in Fallout 4 at the moment. Already got the DLC preordered anyways, I just may wait until I'm done with Fallout 4.

I don't know why people put the acces to the dlc in spoilers , they even put it on the playstation blog.
And the key to the dlc straight up tells you exactly where you need to be, you don't even have to look at the item description it's just the message that shows up when you pick up the item. There hasn't been a more obvious direction given in a souls game ever before.

Level range for DLC?

Is it ok to get into it with my lvl 20 char? I'm decent at the game, have no problems so far with normal enemies etc. or should I go there with my lvl 95 char who is at the start of NG+

New areas, new bosses, new weapons and spells.

Not sure I understand the question though with regards to the end game?

It's kinda weird that the DLC isn't up on EU PSN store but I could buy it via the web store. What's going on?

The Old Hunters expansion is installed though under add-ons.

Wow. Wow.

Highlight this for a major spoiler about the identity of one of the DLC bosses. It's not confirmed, but it appears
The Doll is a construct based on/a reincarnation of Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower.

If true....wow.

Hyped for this, but I'm gonna wait for my guide to arrive before I start this. Hopefully that won't be delayed several times like the guide for the main game.

Of course not. If you're not even interested in finishing the main game, why would you pay $20 for the DLC?
