The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt |OT3| Metz Some Ploughing Good Ladies In the Forest

Could somebody answer please? Don't mean to be pushy, but I'd like to know so I can continue my game.
If you're still in the early game (haven't hit the first point of no return warning), then you're okay to keep going with the mission. It's a multipart one that doesn't conclude until later in the game so it won't get in the way of any other missions. I think the way it's constructed you can't even mess up the mission order, unless you cross that first point of no return without doing them.

So going to attempt to get the platinum trophy for this. Question about the trophy "Full Crew"
Regarding Triss I've spoiled myself a bit and read ahead that you can only recruit Triss if you romance her? I'm not sure if this information is correct or not. Do I have to pick her over Yen? I've also read other things that make it sound like she will show up regardless. Rolling up on the quest where you can potentially romance her. Would like confirmation if anyone can help.

She'll show up regardless.

Seriously, how morally hard is that quest? ALl the bones in my body were telling me to kill those sob's. When They started torturing triss, I couldn't handle it. I was actually clenching my fist the same way as Geralt was doing. So tough, and I felt so bad afterwards...
Oh, I loved it, Geralt's bluff was getting called so damn hard

This game man, even in NG+ the surprises keep coming up. I finished the game earlier, then went back to playing the first and second for the first time. Now I was just strolling along the world looking for some new places I've never discovered (which are alot!), and suddenly I come across this little town.

Turns it it is inhabited by
Letho, who I always thought to be a fun and interesting character.
And it starts this entire quest including
you fighting side by side with him and eventually sending him to Kaer Morhen.

I mean, how awesome is that? It's not even a main quest, you just stumble onto it by accident and end up having this awesome quest. This game man, this game.

Poor
Triss. Those screams, you could just see the despair in his eyes. But boy, the scene that follows up when you first ask about Dandelion and how she kills Menge. Stone cold...

Where's the best place to sell monster trophies?

There is an alchemist near Oxenfurt Gate in Novigrad that buys everything for full price so you would get 250 crowns for monster trophies instead of the usual 27. He appears between 5AM-6AM. He has 500 crowns initially, but regenerates 125 crowns every 5 days so just meditate to do more business with him.

After enough time goes by does he eventually hold more crowns?

Just wanted to say that I absolutely love this game. I'm making my way through Hearts of Stone and can't wait for Blood and Wine! So excited!

got this last week and have been slowly making my way through, just took care of
menge
in novigrad.

very impressed so far. interesting how this series has improved so dramatically as cdproject has made it more attuned to casual audiences. i got to that boss fight in the cursed battlefield in witcher 2 before quitting, had enough of the unwieldy combat by then.

Oh, that's cool! Yet to see a point of no return warning. Damn, been playing this game close to 50 hours now and it's still the beginning? Holy shit.

Thanks a million for replying!

Does anyone know if the (presumed) scholar's corpse from White Orchard beneath the Hangman's Tree finally has the Gwent card along with the letter drop? I'm still missing that card from skipping the tutorial early on and I don't believe you can get it from merchant victories.

Also, there's a Lv3 bandit camp in SW Velen that is dangerously close to a spawn of Lv15 drowners who proceed to wreck at least one of the bandits before I arrive, thus preventing me from clearing the camp. What's up with that, is there a fix incoming?

Just started Witcher 3 for the first time since patch 1.12 (waited till most of my mods were made compatible) and the only bug I've encountered so far (~62h) seems to be still there. This person in distress (Velen) just doesn't want to leave his cage :/

Yes, it does. I was missing this as well, but they added it back in the 1.07 patch, I believe. I just grabbed the card over the weekend from Hangman's Tree, so you should be good.

Edit: The Letter is also there.

I've had that bug since launch as well. Every now and then I head down there to see if they've fixed it in a patch... still waiting.

Am I getting close to the end?

Just started the mission where I join Yennefer to get into the prison at Oxenfurt, late game I'm sure. But how late game? :)

That's part of a cluster of missions for different people. After that there will be a smaller cluster of missions and then the end mission.

I just picked back up with my save file from months ago and noticed one of my weapons is red. I visited a few blacksmiths and nobody is giving me an option to repair, nor do I have any repair kits. I've waited too long to jump back into this. I can't remember how the most basic of systems work.

Hey guys,i'm interested in the new gollancz editions of the Witcher books.Does anyone have a good recommendation of an online bookstore(preferably tried it himself) to suggest?

Also it seems like i can't find Sword of Destiny anywhere,is it out of stock?

I'll be starting Hearts of Stone tonight. Curious if someone can answer me this. I'm at level 35, beaten main story and this campaign is on normal difficulty.

End game witcher gear is level 34. Am I gonna have issues with anything? I know there's level 34+ gear in this expansion, that's why I ask.

Hmm I have a weird problem dunno if anyone else has it. I have the witcher 3 for ps4 but recently got a good laptop so bought it there too the GOG version.

The laptop specs are i7-4720HQ 2.60Gzh, 16gb ram, 970m gtx 3gb. I run the game on ultra except the nvidia hairwork.

Now what happens is that the game randomly every lets say 30min the screen becomes a bit darker like its afternoon or something, but it happens on the menu too then after a few seconds the screen turns completely black and after 5 secs it throws me on desktop with the game still running and then I can just alt tab and everything continues normally. I am like 2 hours into the game it didn't happen at all the 2 hours I was playing with patch 1.11 it has happend 2 times with 1.12. It isn't that annoying I am just curious if it is the game's fault or my graphic card is dying or something. Any clues? Thanks in advance.

You'll be good. The bosses in HoS are pretty tough but I fought the first boss at level 36 with mastercrafted Wolf armor and it was fine.

Alright, this may have been answered but I couldn't see it and by googling isn't giving me straight answer

Is it possible to
sleep with Triss and still end up with Yennefer
at the end of the game?

Spoiler just in case

Omg guys I am retarded........the screen turned black because I am playing with a controller and I wasn't moving my mouse for 10min so the laptop closed the screen to preserve power....... nevermind me I fucked it up.........sorry.

Guys, so I'm like 5 hours in and I've mostly been doing quests in Velen. I'm still right where I started the game. I was thinking it might be time to visit a cool city, maybe Novigrad (for some reason the big cities don't show their names on the map whereas the smaller towns do.) Either way, does it make sense to just travel there even if my quests never seem to end on the farm lands of Velen? I feel like the game has so much to offer but it keeps giving me quests in the same area.

Quests there will probably all be way over your lvl (a lot are still doable with lower level yhen recommended) and monsters/encounters/landmark will be tough to deal with.

So what do you suggest?

Spoiler for someone who is six hours in:
I feel like I already did a dozen quests to find Ciri. Most recently I did the one with the Baron where I fought an ugly foetus, and I'm off again to yet another barn somewhere in Velen.. Does this questline stay in Velen for long or will I actually get to see places soon?

You'll spend much of your time during single digit levels in Velen.

It will take you to Novigrad soon and will continue there for a while until it takes you to another place. So you will see places but the main quest is long and you will spend a lot of time in each area, especially if you plan on doing some of the bigger side quests as well. Which is recommended as they will impact the ending as well.

I'm playing this like an mmo. Log in for a couple hours do some quests, explore some ?s, etc. I keep holding off on the MSQ because I don't want it to end. I'm only in Skilliege but still.

Ugh... I just crafted all the Ursine Enhanced Armor thinking I was level 25... turns out I'm level 24, and now I'm naked considering I sold/dismantled my other armor sets.

Time to reload a previous save I guess.

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/next-witcher-3-expansion-is-better-than-the-main-g/1100-6433789/

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won many awards last year, including GameSpot's own Game of the Year, but CD Projekt Red believes its upcoming expansion will be "better than the main game."

In an interview with Eurogamer Italy, senior writer Jakub Szamalek talked about the game's upcoming expansion Blood and Wine (via OnlySP). The expansion is set to conclude Geralt's story, as it will be his last adventure as the main character. Szamalek says that the experience and feedback received since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt released last year has helped the team at CD Projekt Red achieve something even better than the main game.

Szamalek points out the Wild Hunt's lack of a charismatic enemy, saying they've made a unique and memorable opponent for Blood and Wine. He also mentions that they've created a complex story that they believe players will appreciate.

Once Blood and Wine is released, Szamalek says it'll be time for him to focus all of his energy on Cyberpunk 2077.

We've contacted CD Projekt Red for confirmation on this news and will update this story as more information is made available.

Blood and Wine's description on the game's Steam page is as follows:

"Blood and Wine, a 20-hour tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret."
The upcoming Witcher 3 expansion is set for a release in the first half of 2016. The first expansion, Hearts of Stone, released last year and received a score of 9 in GameSpot's review.

It was recently announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is nominated for eight D.I.C.E. awards. The open-world RPG is also up for a Writers Guild of America award.

The first major update for The Witcher 3 was released this past week, fixing a number of bugs and improving the "general game performance."

Bring it on!
