Well it certainly deserved it.

Although I wish it was more dynamic in nature, static background geometry does allow a lot of pre-compute and shortcuts.) Still doesn't change the fact that it looks phenomenal.

lmao whaaaaaat

halo 5? it's not ugly but come on. no Witcher? mgs? battlefront? Hardline? GTA v PC? Arkham Knight?

halo instead? and the hobbit...???

might as well have Fallout 4 and Ark up there while you're at it, make things real competitive *rolls eyes

Yeh this. Was a visual masterpiece, was absolute garbage outside of that though.

Its not a garbage. It had great potential because of the world they created which has great atmosphere, characters, setting etc.,, Its just lacked content and gameplay was not good overall due to over use of cinematics, so if there is a sequel then it can solve those issues with story, content and improved gameplay.

Wow, that is a weak-ass field.

The Order easily blew those away in this department.

How was battlefront Not nominated. Not saying it should have won, but it looks amazing.

Anyways, good for the order. From what I've seen it looks stunning. Haven't played it yet, but I plan to at some point.

Congrats to the devs. Still hoping for a sequel with more freedom in the game play style/ less QTE's. The setting and story were quite interesting.

Such a weird set of nominees.

Halo 5 is extremely smooth with the solid 60 FPS and mostly excellent art direction, but from a pure fidelity standpoint has some really rough spots.

AC Syndicate probably deserves to be on there even if it is a step down visually from Unity in favor of actually being able to run at 30 on consoles this time.

I don't even know why Destiny is on there. The Dreadnaught was super boring visually in comparison to the rest of the game, which I don't think is even that great to begin with.

The Order is probably the only game on there that's amazing visually even if playing the game for a few minutes shows exactly why it looks as good as it does. Terrible game.

Battlefront, Witcher 3, Tomb Raider, Batman AK, and even MGSV might have been more apt picks.

Deserved.

Underrated game though. Not great, but solid enough to have such potential for a sequel.

@bolded, were we playing the same game? Everybody had the charisma of a damp piece of driftwood.

And yeah if it had a sequel it might improve the story, gameplay, content, level design, AI, characters, movement mechanics, enemy variety and more but why bother when the base shell of the game is so sub par when there are plenty of other more deserving games. Let it die.

Agreed, graphic, attention to details and art style were and still are unbelievable in this game. Well, for me, even the content of this game was great, not every game should be on one hoof.
