I disabled my trophy shots because it was mostly a load of junk. Shots like that make me want to turn it back on.

I wish you could set it to only take shots of gold and maybe silver trophies.

Achieved Level 50 in a pretty damn cool way.

So...what do now? >_>
That is pretty damn sweet.

One of the criticisms of this game was the homing shot and I have to say since buying Black Ops 3 last week I don't get it. In BO 25% of the other team is usually quick scoping the entire round. How is that okay but the pre-nerf homing shot which you could easily avoid was terrible and 'game breaking'? I can't avoid a quick scope unless I hide the entire round but I can easily jet pack or hide behind cover to evade the homing shot. I'll take people using the homing shot over quick scoping any day of the week.

Hope they fix melee as well in the upcoming patch. It's broke as fuck.
Just meleed a player who had about 20 health left, in the back. Nothing. He turns around, melees me back. Insta-kill.
He had personal shield activated, but that shouldn't be an issue right?

Anything homing shot is not viable anymore.

Barrage has been nerfed even harder is respect of cooldown.

The mentioned guns are still great.

Homing Shot was heavily nerfed, so you'll likely want to swap that piece of shit out of your loadouts.

Balance is really good now, blasters are varied and all seem to have their defined roles.

Cheers. I guess I'm gonna try the Cycler Rifle for a change. (Huh, haven't even unlocked it yet.)

Because chains of Homing Shots one after the other were a huge pain in the ass to dodge, especially on open maps with poor cover outdoors (Hoth, Jakku, Sullust), made even worse by the fact it could be fired off almost instantly at short range and it would regularly circle back around if you did manage to dodge it.

Plus SWBF is not CoD.

They've done a good job to make it so that most deaths are due to blaster fire and not some form of star card cheese. They may have gone a little too far with some cards but I'm sure they will bring it back a little like they did with the Cycler Rifle.

The only star card disproportionately represented on the death screen now is Pulse Cannon because its the most reliable source for a OHK without needing to get your hands dirty, unlike Thermal Detonators.

Nothing more infuriating then useless teammates, just extremely frustrating when I'm the only one going positive out of 8 people on my team. 4 and 11 is acceptable. 0 and 14 is not.

Go to the 13 minute mark in this video and watch it for about 22 seconds lol

Thanks man. Definitely sucks. I'll miss him a lot.

Sorry for the loss, I actually saw you streaming earlier yesterday from my PS4 browser. I was just checking out streams and yours was the first that popped up.

You were playing walker assault as Han on Hoth sniping dudes from halfway across the map lol.

Some people aren't very good, and probably at that point don't have many of the weapons. Other than blast, If they are at least attacking the objective and soaking up some blaster shots then I prefer them to the guys who go 14-1 and you don't win a single objective. At some point if you are a half decent player, forget your pointless K/D and risk getting killed attacking or defending an objective.

That's nothing I've seen players go 2-34 before. A lot of people who play this game aren't very good, it attracts a wide audience, so you're going to get players that go extremely negative. This is one of the few games where I honestly don't even care about winning or stats. It's fun to play and I try to forget all of that. That being said, I do ok for myself 1.48 kd with a 55% w/l.

But it seems like I'm the only person who can get to the drop zone pod. I have to Kamikaze to the pod with shield+jump pack. In 3 games with the same people we stole a pod switch maybe 12 times. Only 3 of those times weren't me. I agree about ptfo but these players are just cannon fodder and can't even get near the objective. When we are down 3 pods I tend to give up on ptfo. The real problem is that these players are being matched up against level 50s while they have a basic understanding of the game.

The funniest thing is that I enjoy the gameplay enough to find joy in these one way games. Can't say that about any other fps since halo reach. I only feel upset at the end of the game when the scoreboard comes up and I was carrying the team and my pod captures just inflate the length of the game and delay the inevitable.

"You will play as Emperor Palpatine the next round"

I'd rather not, thanks.

Can't wait for the double xp to start. I kinda ignored the game the last few times it was on. Not this time. I'm going to play so much Fighter Squadron, those last four levels on the way to 50 are gonna fly by. Preferably in an A-Wing.

Thanks man.

Haha yeah I've learned to love playing Han on Hoth. Perfect defensive character.

Also, scrub lords that use explosive shot, DL-44, and pulse cannon are, well, scrub lords.

You & I would get along great.

Man I love the EE-3. I keep trying different blasters but I always come back to the EE-3 in the end.

I really want to like the E-11. Its got that authentic Star Wars *pew pew pew*, deals good damage (especially with head shots) and is fairly accurate. On paper, its better than the EE-3 with higher dps, less spread per shot and faster recoil reduction. But in practice the massive spread reduction on the EE-3 keeps it accurate at all ranges and good trigger timing with burst fire puts out a stupid amount of damage in a short period of time.

Any weapon buff is good with it making it even better with any role or play style:

Focus Fire - Snipe as though its a T-21B;
Explosive Shot - Melt faces even faster at short-medium range;
Cooling Cell - Spam that accurate fire for even longer;
Ion Shot - Turrets ain't got a chance at any range.

Or go vanilla with Personal Shield or Scan Pulse and still deal precision damage. Its just too good, imo.

Jackfrags gave a good overview on the EE-3 back in late December and I agree with him on pretty much every point.

A close second for me would go to the T-21B. Its pretty close to supreme at 30m+ and Explosive Shot turns it into a 2-hit kill inside 10m but the semi-auto fire combined with the quick overheat means it falls short of that glorious EE-3 all-rounder goodness.

The rest just lack the versatility and precision I'm looking for. If I did mix it up, it'd be with the A280C but it just seems to lack a certain punch.

I've never been able to adjust to the burst fire of the EE-3, I can never get the accuracy down and I lose to pretty much every other gun when I'm using it.

I'm also sure that I die to certain guns (E11, A280c etc) way faster than other people die when I use the exact same weapon on them.

I've gone back to the RT-97c. I don't care if it's weaker than it used to be; it's the only long-range weapon I'm comfortable with.

That is all that matters in the end. Use what you find most comfortable, and you do the best with.

The automatic blasters are definitely more... forgiving...

I tend to find that the harder hitting rifles like the E-11 and T-21 throw off my timing and thus my aim if I hold down the trigger, and if I'm going semi-auto to take more control, why bother?

The rapid fire rifles like the A280C, RT-97C and DLT-19 just dont hit hard enough per bolt for my liking. It feels like I'm whittling people down and hoping they don't get a headshot on me before I kill them. They're great if you get the drop on people though.

That's what's good about the EE-3 and, to a lesser extent, the T-21B. I get to control the timing. I guess I'd say that its a combination of patience and anticipation. You've got to be able to anticipate the way the enemy is going to move and/or strafe and, when the timing is right, go to town on them as fast as you can without '"jamming" the gun. But if your timing is off, you're screwed. :)

E-11 is probably my most consistent weapon by miles.

The fire rate is slow enough that I feel like I can dance around with it and still get hits off consistently, and it definitely hits like a truck so it feels very reliable to shoot.

I heard double XP was going on this weekend. Has it started yet?

EE-3 master race reporting in. It's not perfect but to me it is the most versatile and reliable, I enjoy using it more than any other blaster I've tried.

I think my second favorite so far was the DH-17 just for how it handled. I havent used the SE-14C much at all but I keep seeing players surprise me with it so I think I'm going to give it a shot. And based on your suggestion I might play around with the T-21B as well.

Same here...feels like way too much of a cluster eff. Drop Zone is my favorite mode by a long shot.

It was by far my favorite mode in the beginning since I prefer the bigger modes over the smaller ones. Now my favorite one is Supremacy and turning point. I don't even play WA anymore, maybe one game per day.

I've just been part of a Rebel team that lost a match of Fighter Squadron.

What.

I was the only person on my team who had a double digit number of kills.

How does this happen. You've got A-Wings! Even when you're bad you should still be good.

You have clearly never been on a squad with me...

Fair warning that my brother and I just pass the controller to each other when we play. So you have a 50% shot of getting "person who doesn't play shooters but is generally pretty good at video games" or "person who doesn't play shooters, can't aim, gets lost, dies horribly over and over again but damn it got this game anyway."

To be fair, I do spend a lot of time TRYING to get to the objective.

I just can't get comfortable with a game mode, I really don't know man. Why couldn't we have a traditional conquest mode.

Supremacy is the equivalent to RUSH, but it doesn't feel as good.

I hate the game modes in this game.

Went from level 46 to level 49 in about 1 hour and 10 minutes before I stopped playing for the evening. Level 50 is finally within reach.

SE-14C is amazing in close quarters and still good at mid range. But it's practically useless at long range which can be frustrating.

I love the EE-3 but my main problem was with it over heating. I wish you could at least get one more volley out before it does.

T-21B is godly at long range, you can get a ton of shots off if timed correctly killing up to 3 people before over heating. The thing about the T-21B is, unlike the EE-3 and SE-14C where you can use them really well in 3rd person. Is to get the maximum use out of the T-21B you really need to be in first person for it. I mean yeah you can use it in third person, but when your aiming at enemies that far away I found it much easier to use in first.
