I haven't played Steins;Gate yet (my special edition is sitting in my shelf, though) but the anime is awesome, I suppose you've already watched it.
Being a huge fan of Ace Attorney as I am, I have already beaten Dual Destinies. It's good. Not Trials and Tribulations levels of good, but in the level of the first one.
I really don't know what to recommend you, it's a hard decission.

So I've been playing Kindred Spirits all day and this game is SO GOOD.

Each of the cherries below starts me on the content for one of the pairings for this in-game month. I've been staring at this screen for 20 minutes now because I don't know which one to do first, they're all great. There's so much good content in this game that I don't know which good content to play first.

Sekai Project has the main writer for Aokana at their panel. It sure sounds like they will be licensing Aokana after-all.

No, but you can skip text with the CTRL button. The demo covers all the scenes in May and just the couple scenes in June, but it did skip scenes from Yuna's perspective in June along with stuff with the ghosts, so you get to new content really quickly.

Well the fan translation is pretty close to being finished. I wouldn't be particularly interested in playing a moege on Vita, considering H scenes are a pretty big part of moege for me. :p

The fan translation is what SP is using, it won't ever be released by itself. The translation was done by someone who has worked for Sekai Project and it went on a mysterious hiatus after being finished, which is why there was speculation that it was being licensed, which now seems to be confirmed.

I'm thinking about making an OT for the game but I'm not sure if there would be any interest or if I'd get smacked for making an OT for an eroge. I really want people to check this out though, it's really good!

Fricken amazing game so far. Kindred Spirits is already one of my favorite VN's.

We had OTs for the BL games, so I think it's okay but you should maybe ask a mod to be sure.

I dunno if it was knwon already, but as I went to gran my steam key for Kindred Spirits from Mangagamer, I noticed Magical Eyes had its steamkey appended already too, so if you preordered it from MG website, you can redeem the game already (to wait for release).

This might sound like self-advertising, but...
I'm working on a VN (Half VN - Half Adventure Mode | Just like Zero Escape) and I got a demo for Android version. If anyone wants to give it a try (Free, No ads), please, PM me with your Gmail that you use on your Google Play, so I can give you access to our Beta Test server (You will be receiving updates every other day).

The game is far from being released (we're aiming at 2017), so any opinion and/or criticism will be very welcome!

Considering the base game costs $5 and they are upfront about versions promising both of them day and date unlike past campaigns, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt... Just this one time.

Btw, I realized I've never backed any of their campaigns and only own 2 of their releases (Nekopara and WEE vol.1 and will not buy future installments of WEE because I found myself hating the MC), so might as well vote with my wallet about a campaing that I actually like for once (or like how it sounds).

I just hope they don't pull a crowdfunding campaing for Aokana, however (and offer both versions for it in the same day and date). Not gonna lie, tempted to back this one. Still, will decide later, I'm at the office so I'm not willing to open that link :lol

Yeah. There's no point bothering with those people. They've already made up their mind about what it's about.

For now we should just ignore them, and if the mods deem it necessary they can lock it. Hopefully not, tho.

Everyone just assumes the worst and goes down that road. If it really was what they think it is, the topic wouldn't even be allowed, but we all know that on these forums a mini game where you poke a character's CG face with a stylus is deemed as "creepy" sooo....

If you want to discuss it without those people, I guess here (this thread) is the best place. Of course, there is also reddit, VNDB and Fuwanovel. Probably other places too.

Yes, but it's annoying for the people who actually want to talk about it. It's okay for it not to interest someone, and it's okay to say you don't like the art, but they don't need to make driveby snarky posts, when they aren't even interested.

But then again, this is the internet, so... *sigh*

Eh, creepy is a word that's lost all meaning, anyway. It's been overused in the last months/years to the point that pretty much anything you do is apparently creepy.

The face-poking minigame is weird tho, I'll give them that. Creepy, though? Fuck off

To be fair visual novels like Atlach=Nacha (were you play as a lesbian spider demon that eats little girls, and rapes them), Europhoria, which is basically a rape, scat, and every weird as hell fetish wrapped up in one, and Rance, which is basically Shogun 2, if it were a visual novel, with the most unlikable, perverted, and ruthless protagainst in existence dont help matters.

People's minds are deadset that Eroge, and H-games are all simply porn games.

I still think Euphoria would easily work without the H-scenes and instead replace them with just torturing scenes.

I dont think its about VNs though and the people who think VNs are all nukige are usually the ones who think that all Manga are ToLoveRu and all Anime are LaBlueGirl or K-On.

I tried playing it. I really did. I...couldn't get pass it. I felt like throwing up.

I really didnt think it was that bad, because the H-scenes are so over the top. I mean even in the normal Sex scenes the girls scream like you are ripping their heads open. Didnt feel like the realistical portrayal at all and all over the top.

I wouldn't put K-On and La Blue Girl (which started as a Manga btw) in the same category. I mean I've never watched it, but as far as I know K-On is much tamer than La Blue Girl.
