I wasnt too happy about the late new gen Black/White last time (weakest entries too with some shitty pokemon designs and barren overworld). I would rather they wait unless they will also release this on the next handheld with improved graphics and performance. I admit I will be weak and buy these games day one regardless since I am a pokemon slave and spent a lot of money and time on mah 89 battle ready pokemons from Y/OR.

The big issue that would present itself from Game Freak rushing into, say, the NX, is that we'd get a weak set of Pokemon newcomer species like we did with X/Y. Simply put, Game Freak needed to put too much effort into upgrading the games to 3D for the first time. A Pokemon launch game would be disastrous.

EDIT: Also, if this is indeed 6.5 as the evidence suggests, what does that mean of that new robot Pokémon? Is it effectively "free DLC" for gen 6, or the Marill of gen 7?

I hope Pokemon Sun and Moon would be great games because we are going to celebrate 20th anniversary with the games. Hopefully, It's possible that we could travel around in other regions, like Kanto, Johto or Sinnoh.
