There you go. The ORAS fans have entered the thread. All gen sucks
Agreed. Felt like an expansion than its own thingI don't find Johto to be anything special on its own. Gen 2 relies heavily on Gen 1, not only in terms of Pokémon but also the game itself.
Female are dominant
Certainly, but there were limitations to that connectivity. It's like how Gen 5 and Gen 6 were compatible through the Transporter. Like, yes they are technically compatible in some regards, but their connectivity was severely limited by the difference between the two games, namely new Pokemon. It could have connectivity like Gen I with Gen II, something that's never been done since.
If I want to watch the anime again, which is the season to get into?
It's not going to be a remake of an existing region. We just had one of those. (It was bad.)
Best spot ever.
Best spot ever.
I'm hoping for a graphical upgrade, B&W on DS had slightly better quality than Diamond/Perl/Silver/Gold
It's a real shame they pulled the plug on the Genius Sonority Pokemon RPGs. They would have made some serious bank with one on wii. Oh well
Best spot ever.
Kalos has the best dex, quality over quantity. Everything from the starters to the fossils and to the legendaries were awesomely designed and you could see how much care and thought were put into them.
Unova has the best story, the characters are well developed, and it was ace they incorporated the gym leaders and treat them as the hyped up machines they're meant to be.
Sinnoh has the best atmosphere, so chilled out and relaxing. Everything from the beautiful, historical, rugged landscape to the Jazz influenced music helps it accomplish this.
Hoenn has the best sense of adventure, you travel the most diverse landscape, including rain forests, deserts, oceans, and volcanoes. The music is triumphant, and besting your dad gives you that sense of progress.
Johto has the best progress between instalments, it took everything that made gen 1 big and made it bigger. It added so many staples to the series, and was what a sequel should be.
Kanto started it all. Personally, I don't find it all too appealing these days compared the other gens. It just doesn't match up, it's region is boring fields and similar looking towns. The Pokemon look bland in comparison to the newer ones, and everything else it had other regions do better, but it did start it all, and I'm grateful for that.
This looks so familiar, what's here again?
Best spot ever.
I just want them to include character customization again and more than hoodies and tracksuits for the male avatar. D:
Did they keep the character customization for ORAS?

Great post. Taking this opportunity to say Xerneas and Yveltal are some of my favorite cover legendaries ever. Especially Xerneas.Kalos has the best dex, quality over quantity. Plus
you just stroke me with a nostalgia fist..
those games were actually pretty good
Does this even count as a leak? Not a huge Pokémon fan but fuck leaks.
Or I should say "fuck GAME leaks".
I liked the idea of legendary Pokemon being mythical beasts of mystery and immense power. They had history with the world. Mewtwo had a cool story behind him. But when we got to the point that Pokémon were controlling space and time and one of them was God, I just felt.....I don't know. Not necessarily that it was absurd, because Pokemon was already absurd, but the the creator's vision of Pokemon and my vision of it weren't lining up anymore.
Certain things are pointing to Gen 6, but it could be anything at this point. Not reading through 30+ pages but has anyone mentioned the fact that a hacker a while back found 2 extra slots for the Kalos Pentagon?
X/Y
ORAS
That's 4 right there. These new games might still be gen 6.
I don't want another Gen 2, it was awful. The Pokemon distribution was so bad that it lead to Johto Pokemon being overshadowed by Kanto ones, both the regions were barebones and uninteresting and the level curve was complete and utter fucking shit.
Putting Kanto and Johto in one game was a mistake that I hope isn't repeated again.
So in Sun you can only be female and Moon you can only be male?

I'll give you another hint:
It was the place where you could purify your pokemons while walking endlessly, a glitch on the corner of that edge.
I'm trying to make a pervy joke about how women are dominant in bed! LolIn some cultures Women represent the moon and Men the Sun.Yes I learned this from Bayonetta

I bet most who played it as a kid have the complete opposite impression of that generation than you, I know I doI don't want another Gen 2, it was awful. But what if Moon's mascot looks incredible and Sun's looks like doodoo?I'm already seeing people on the internet trying to shill the Moon version, they need to give up, Sun version is going to outsell it handily.

That's an awfully strong opinion that is thankfully untrue.

Meh, Black ace>>> Red joker, Pegasus>>> Leo, and now Moon >>> Sun. Sales be damned. ;_;I'm already seeing people on the internet trying to shill the Moon version, they need to give up, Sun version is going to outsell it handily.
Gen 2 having bad Pokemon distribution and a shit level curve are not opinions.
Everything seems good when you're a kid.
It was edgy but it was fun, I miss it.
