"Second Chance is only going to get a first..." or something along those lines. I'm just waiting to wake up to that one of these days.

What are we thinking about Sleepy Hollow? Fox brings it back, keeps it on Friday nights? That sounds plausible.

Yes. I think so.

It's doing fine and shows are stupid expensive to cancel in season 3.

Do you think syndication could help Sleepy Hollow get renewed?

Season 1 = 13 episodes
Season 2 = 18 episodes
Season 3 = 18 episodes

Total = 49 episodes so far.

Another 18 episode season would bring the total to 67 episodes.

It's not about cable syndication. No one is syndicating reruns of SH. There's no streaming potential for SH without more seasons. Shows only become profitable in season 4 regardless of episode count.

Gotcha, that makes sense.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I didn't get to watch any TV last night because of terrible weather :(
I missed The Carmichael show and I was really excited to watch that. At least all the CW shows were renewed!

It's important to note that with the integration of the studio and the network at Fox, I'm guessing there's more incentive to keep their marginal shows that they own around in order to not incur the normal losses you'd see from losing them.

Sort of like why it was such a head scratcher for Paul Lee to cancel Body of Proof. I think they realized later what a dumb decision that was, but it was too late.

I dropped Quantico after the season break because the show was already showing signs of non-sense, and it was barely pass the first half of the first season!

With the show being renewed, I can only imagine the convoluted mess it will be in by the end of S2.

Because he is awesome and one of the best parts of an amazing show.

Well.yeah...but what about Gotham then?
Unless they make it a prequel show with young Alfred still doing special ops missions.
Darker version of Agent Carter bassicaly :)

Altough with how awesome their Azrael costume looks I kind of wish that if they did Gotham spin-off it would be about Azrael.

Guess Lucifer's gonna stick around
Maybe Fox should just permanently avoid sci-fi or stop trying to make it a thing. All those butthurt nerds who are bitter about Firefly aren't coming back. Fringe was a bit of a fluke because it kinda coasted on its X-Files-ness just like the X-Files revival.

What I'm saying is that they should just fill their primetime slate with urban fantasy/supernatural cop shows instead. If only cause I want to see what happens if they do. Can't be worse than sci-fi!

Young Alfred has some potential. WW2(maybe), establishing the Wayne Legacy in Gotham, heck he could even have run-ins with the League of Shadows.

As a big fan of sci-fi, I absolute love that Fox gives sci-fi so much love. But I cannot deny their lack of sucess in that genre, so if they want to move away from it, I certainly cannot blame them.

Who's Azrael? He's in Lucifer?

Nah. He's a dude from superhero DC world. A superhuman (not by much, but definitely above human) genetically engineered assassin working for Order of Dumas. In 90s he replaced Wayne as Batman for a while once Bruce got his back broken

I know the official reason for all the renewals is so the CW can continue its "year-round schedule", but I can't help but also think they're building up a library for when they pull all their shows from Netflix and start their own streaming subscription thing, like was rumored a little while back.

They already have one and it's awesome. CW Seed gets no love unfortunately.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that

I wish it had a TV app. It's definitely overlooked, and has one of the most weirdly awesome library of shows. The OC, Hellcats, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Mad TV.

Curious to see how well the +3 and +7 ratings are for the Fox shows.

I think even with these bad numbers that Lucifer is coming back.
