"Choose your anti-aliasing quality setting"
"On / Off"
"On / Off"
Triple buffer vsync, not double, which means it will vary between 30-60 and not stay locked at 30. The framerate lock in Gears Ultimate was awful, and made the game look choppy when used:
I don't trust this to be any different.
See above.
Fuck!
Is there a way to preorder on PC? Or is it just the Xbox version?
Is it native direct X 12?
From what I gather...load up the Xbox App on Win10, sign in to your account and preorder from the app. We get a code mailed to use the "week of launch"...lol it better not be more than a day or two after. Is there a way to preorder on PC? Or is it just the Xbox version?
I'm looking at it on the xbox app on win10 right now. It buys the X1 version but sends the code around launch. Looks like i can preorder from the app and don't need an xboneYou can only preorder on Xbox One, and with that preorder you'll get the key to redeem it on Windows 10, i hope they'll send that key already april 5th.
Exactly you answered my questionWhat's "native DX12"? As in the renderer developed for D3D12 from scratch? Then no, it's a port of D3D11 renderer:
Yeah, it'd be nice if they said what kind of AA they were using. I guess it's 4x MSAA? Be nice if there were different options too.
It won't be msaa on a deferred renderer. It will be a post process aa solution with a temporal pass.Jesus if the only option is 4x MSAA that'd be horrible for a game demanding like this.

SSAO and no AA options?
Hmph

Is 30fps lock their idea of vsync?
Game has a hard-cap at 60 FPS, unfortunately. Makes no sense for it to be that way though, FPS caps should be left to the user :lol.

Sidenote. I have a birthday coming up. How would someone go about getting me Quantum Break for PC off the windows store? Do the xbox cards also add the account balance to your windows store account?
Exactly you answered my question
Thanks

Xbox Credit works on the Windows 10 store so they can go about it that way.
You will need a nuke plant to run this game at 120 fps with good settings and resWhat? Remedy pls. So fuck those with 120+ FPS monitors.

So what? GPUs are still getting better all the time.
Is there a source for the 60 fps claim anyway? I can't find any
Youre both right but personally i won't care about this game in a year. I'll play it now in April and that's it most likely. My personal opinion doesn't really matter thoI'd bet within a year you'll be able to play this at 100+ FPS at medium settings with the 16nm GPUs
With D3D12 being less than a year on the market it's highly unlikely that there will be a renderer developed specifically for D3D12 at this time. Supporting DX11 is also important for now as not everyone have upgraded to Win10. (I'm actually a bit surprised at the DX12 requirement for QB but only a bit since it's MS 1st party.)
Are you sure about this? I would assume that the game is "capped" on your display refresh as any UWA app is right now.
What's wrong with SSAO ? There are very good screen space solutions around.
HBAO+ and VXAO are much better in terms of quality.
i will not buy this game unless its less than 10 dollars or if its on steam for normal price
