I have a theory that Jack left one of his crewmates on Zou in disguise or hiding with a Vivre card so he could track Zou's location.
If it's a Zoan user, they might have turned into a hybrid form to blend in with the Mink. Although, I find that to be unlikely since the Mink are such a close-knit, united group. They would have already noticed someone that was unfamiliar to the island.

I found a better version of the pic discussed a few pages ago.
and thats definitely someone sitting in a prison cell and the clothes do look like Kid's.
And some people have pointed out that Apoo may have been part of Kaido's crew for longer than we know and that he basically sold Kid and Hawkins out. It would explain why he already has a direct connection to Kaido.

Very happy with how Oda resolved the Jack situation. Not only was it a complete surprise with the elephant being able to fight back and being able to be heard/commanded via Haki, but he took care of Jack in one chapter vs my assumptions of a battle between Jack and Luffy and the rest/etc, which could have easily taken multiple chapters. And the Minks "sort of" got their revenge, so there's no lingering story reasons to see Jack for a while/until Luffy is ready to confront Kaidou, which allows the story to go forward with the Sanji rescue arc.

Oda said on the SBS right after the timeskip that Sanji curls his eyebrows. So if he is serious, Sanji wasn't born with them like that.

To reiterate a meme, Jack has no chill. Usually it seems to work out for him given his large bounty and elite position in Kaidou's crew, but that week was just not his week. Trying to kill a gigantic, island carrying elephant when you're at disadvantage on sea (not like their ship has a coup de burst) will never not be the worst idea ever.
Overall nice chapter and the conclusion of Zou should happen next chapter (or maybe the one after). Love Frankie's whale hairstyle too. Completely random, lol.
