I think it keeps you from writing over those messages when you make new ones. Since you can only make so many you have to protect your favourites.
So Dark Souls 3 on a 970 can run okay at 4K, it runs great in character creation and looks fantastic, but in game it runs pretty average, about as well as the console versions at their low point, so not really good enough, but perfectly fine for messing around and taking screenshots.

Not the ones on the ground. When enemy blood gets on your character. Turns your face/skin brown.

I died about 3-4 times on the first boss. I'm now in
Farron Keep
That being said, it's just a typical souls boss, nothing fancy or special, once you warm up, you'll beat it easily.. that's why it's the first boss. Still can very, very easily kill you, even the best of players.
Does your character look brown or red after battles? If it's RGB, I'll have to look into it. Because slices show red blood coming out, but stains on the ground look brown (from enemies).
Sry i must not have noticed, i was talking about bloodstains of fallen players.
Yeah, those are red. There are just some weird discrepancies with blood lol.
I thought the game was pretty straightforward. I wasted a bunch of points in Equipment Load that I didn't need to. Would have been better off pushing past the Health Soft Caps.
The game feels balanced around around being a Strength build with a Shield in the Medium weight range.

Put in about 4 hours last night. This game definitely feels amazing to play. when I found out about the L2 moves/buffs, I almost lost my shit, especially on the Uchi. Shame they use MP though.
Like many others have said, the hardest part of this game so far is definitely the normal enemies. Those knights in the first level in particular are tough with their shields and poise. I'm having a hard time getting more than 1 hit at a time on them. Even the spear hollows recover after a single attack when you kick their shields away.
In Lordric, does the

Yes! They're rarer but they exist. They're sort of end-game/PvP weapons if I'm honest.
You can also create a Divine/Holy weapon which will then scale on Faith.

They hit really hard. I just run towards them and kill before they do their thing... If I fail, then I just run away, lol.

I'm just not getting the timing of parrying, no matter how hard I try. I had no problem with DS1 and the pistol riposting parry in BB, but the combat and parrying is much more similar to DS2 here, to the point where I can't make any progress.
Any suggestions? Are parrying time windows deliberately mistimed?

PC version performance is all over the place. Have that in mind.
They need to trigger the boss fight properly before you can enter. They are summoning before they even know a boss is there.
980 Ti and a 2500k oc'd @ 4.7 with 16gb ram upto the task?
PC version it will be. I am sure they will fix any performance issues.

I'm playing on a laptop with 970m and it plays perfectly on high but there are some weird PC issues going around but I haven't had any.
Should be able to max out at 1440p, if not, easily at 1080p. I have the same but a 6700k and I played for 5 hours at a rock solid 60 at 1440p.
