Better Call Saul S2 |OT| The Truth Is Just A Point Of View - Mondays 10/9c

Finally caught up and looking forward to the finale tonight.

Note that they're doing another Talking Saul after show following tonight's finale in case you need more Chris Hardwick in your life for some reason.

I'm upset this is ending and scared of what will happen. What if chuck becomes a vegetable and jimmy pulls the plug on him. What if hitting his head "cures" his sickness.

That preview was crazy. Can't believe we are already at the finale, but super excited to see what Vince does with this episode. Wonder if they'll expand past 10 episodes per season. I think the pace is pretty great so far, but they could definitely throw in a couple extra episodes and give some of the characters' stories some room to breathe a bit.

Finale Day!

The whole point of Kim leaving and entering a sole practice was to show how much like Jimmy she is. Many people are blinded by her nice legs and missed that.

I think we're due for a revelation about Kim's past. She clearly shows a unique affinity and kinship with Jimmy, and she seemed a bit dodgy when Schweikert asked her about how she came to Albuquerque. There's something more there than just the two of them being old mailroom buddies.

They've already confirmed 10 again for S3. It's all AMC will likely allow for a Monday night show like this, no matter how well received critically. BB was lightning in a bottle that uniquely gave them full creative freedom. BCS just isn't the kind of event TV that its predecessor was, but that's totally okay.

I shot people I like more for less.

Wasn't this season initially renewed for 13 though? I got the impression that the reduction was at the behest of the showrunners. I'm sure AMC would be happy to have more.

I know I'm late, but I'm ready to call the latest episode the best one since the pilot. Brilliant pacing, writing and cinematography.

🔥🔥🔥🔥

I know some people claim that "nothing happened" during S2, but I feel like this whole Mesa Verde mess is pushing Jimmy's transformation into Saul more than anything during S1. Plus, it also gave us THAT CUCU SONG and the morbid #fuckchuck moment we were all pinning for:

I cannot wait for the finale.

I watched the most recent episode yesterday and damn this was amazing! So the new episode tomorrow will be the last one this season? I want more :)

That "Abbey Road" screen really highlights how great this crew is at character design. They always have been since BB - every character is unique and memorable while still being based in reality.

People who think Saul completely babandons the McGill name are just wrong- one of the first things he tells Walt in BB S2 is his real name, and something like 'the elderly want a Jewish sounding lawyer'.

Thank god Game of Thrones s6 is this Sunday, I would have nothing to look forward to then.
If the season finale can up last week's episode then that will be something

I'm currently half way through Nailed and this just gets better every episode. Mike is fucking awesome, Jimmy is great and I'm rooting for Kim every episode. I'm also a fan of Michael Mando ever since Far Cry 3, and he's great in this.

I can't help but think Kim and Chuck are dead by the time BB rolls around. Or living somewhere far away. How could Jimmy reinvent himself as Saul if any of the people that know him are still around?

I certainly think that's the case with Chuck - probably one of Jimmy's misdemeanours (sp) will end up giving him a heart attack, and I expect Kim will eventually find him toxic and have to move away to put as many miles between them as she can.

Anybody enjoying Michael Mando's performance should give Orphan Black a try. He's a total riot there as a clingy drug dealer with anger issues.

Can't wait for tonight. Stoked that GOT and SV pick up the slack immediately.

This show is gonna have trouble being topped by others this season. can't wait to see what Gilligan pulls off.

Yeah this is why I don't believe any scenario proposed that has him disbarred either. He is clearly not embarrassed or scared about bringing up his old name, especially to a complete stranger who has a really shady looking visage on him. If he wasn't afraid that his name could be used against him he wouldn't have brought it up in such a liberal fashion.

your point doesn't make much sense though. [why am I not surprised] I don't really see how that is a huge mistake when he just wanted to take their money without, if possible, killing anyone.
funny that you mention Chuck because that either wouldn't have been very inconsistent. we know Kim knew it wasn't Chuck's fault but when you think about it, she had a point. if you consider his condition, where and how he works (no proper lights, for once), making a tiny mistake like that could have definitely been possible, no matter how good and meticulous he may be.

Again, if Mike wanted to make as sure as possible nobody gets hurt then he shouldn't have left the driver in the open like he did. If he wanted the least possible attention from outsiders then he shouldn't have left the driver as he did. It's a big brain fart on his part.

Regarding Chuck, we've also seen how he overcomes his condition and brings his A-game when needed, when convincing the Bank to stay with the firm. If he can do that in the office then he shouldn't have problems in his home. If Chuck's downfall was genuinely to be by a typo he didn't catch even though he triple-checked the address almost nobody would have given slack to the writers for choosing to depict in that way.

Nooo, we can't let the thread die already.

One of the GOATs, and the game I've finished the most in my life.
Both alone, and with friends..

Was on a camping trip in Sweden with my parents when I bought this based on the cover.
Read the manual 100 times, and was miserable for the rest of the vacation cause I just wanted to play this sonofabtich.

Oh my... This isn't the correct thread at all. :p

Possible spoilers for tonight's episode regarding a certain popular fan theory.

Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould appeared on a show and

@ around the 8:30 mark
lol these fucking guys man. They're always so modest, especially Gilligan. He acts all clueless like they don't know what they're doing and flying by the seat of their pants but I aint fooled. They have this down to a science.

Let's be honest about VG: he can turn the Internal Revenue Code into a compelling story.
