I believe it's three.

Three. We've saw like 1 to 2 second glimpses of other areas through the story trailer and various shots from the making of series but nothing so far has been really shown compared to Uncharted 3. There was literally full length play throughs of big set pieces all throughout the game leading up to it's launch. We saw the burning chateau, the end of the bar fight from the intro, the sinking cruise ship, the airstrip complete set piece etc.

The airstrip set piece was insane, I wonder how they'll top that. Even though UC3 had some issues, the air strip set piece and the ship set piece were absolutely insane. I still get goose bumps watching that airstrip set piece play out.

They will top it with emotional set piece.

I'd say the setpiece they showed at E3 tops that. The scale and length of that setpiece if on a different level compared to any other game. Not just the Uncharted series.

They'll top it with a car chase sequence through the streets of London. ;)

Will not watch, but man, the game comes out during my mid terms, so I'll have to wait a week before playing it, because if I buy it on release I'm sure I'll ruin my exams lol.

In terms of pure spectacle the plane was pretty amazing, but from a gameplay POV it was fairly basic.

(About set-pieces in U4) What we're trying to do is make them richer, make them more playable, give the player more options within those set-pieces. So to have a really interesting combat encounter, with a lot of different options and a lot going on, within a set-piece that is falling apart around you.

I find this way more exciting than the prospect of bigger explosions. If they can match the spectacle seen in the cargo plane while offering more player choice, that would be fucking rad!

It's been way too long since a Naughty Dog game. We deserve all the awesome. :D

The wait is killing me :p

Man I cannot wait for this game man. I've been wildly anticipating this game since PS4 was announced. I have no idea what ND has in store for us. I'm just reading reviews and comments about TLOU at launch and seeing how well received that was, I wonder can they do that AGAIN.

Yeah I remember that. I know what they're doing, I just mean as in pure insanity of the set piece(A fucking plane in the air exploding). What's next?? Drake latches onto a rocket blasting off into space? Lol

Man, going through the first Uncharted game now on my PS3 in anticipation for this trailer and the game. Gotta say, though, the first game has aged poorly, but still has a charm of its own.

Agree completely, E3 set piece is in a scale not seen before, it's the most impressive I've seen in any game.

Between the existing footage that's already out there and just beating Uncharted 3 for the first time last night, a flawed but incredibly epic action adventure game, I couldn't be more sold on UC4. Going to avoid this video if at all possible.

Just release the damn game already, god damn. ;p

Sowed that e3 gameplay to some non-gamers at work and their minds were entirely blown with how ludicrous it was, in a good way. Like most of us they probably thought it was going to be over in 20 seconds, but it just keeps on going, unfolding, and topping itself as it goes.

I needed this final trailer to satiate my desire since I stopped playing games for couple of weeks now.

Monday: Uncharted 4 final trailer
Wednesday: Bethesda's Doom stream (single player)
Tuesday (next week): Overwatch open beta all the way until Monday (May 9) and then...

...UNCHARTED 4: A THIEF'S END!
...DOOM!
...OVERWATCH!

Not watching. I'll probably browse the reactions in the thread though lol
You won't avoid the gifs though, that's the problem I have as well, I could live without the trailer but I want to see the reactions and reactions always come with lots of gifs, so at least watch the trailer and get higher quality visuals, sound and context.

Just started Uncharted 2 and now I'm hyped as fuck for Uncharted 4! Really hoping we see "next gen Chloe" in the trailer.

The only way I see Chloe in this game is in some sort of flashback (unnecessary though) or maybe epilogue (more likely).

I still highly doubt she's in the game.

Druckmann knows there can be only one.

It'd be the best surprise if Chloe and Cutter are in Uncharted 4. Two of my favorite Uncharted characters.

Not much of a surprise.

They're hardly going to exit stage right in the final game of the series. They'll at least be in a photo, especially considering they have multiplayer character models.

There's Marlowe, Flynn and Lazarevic character models. I doubt they're in the SP.

Arguably Druckmann knows you can't see the series off without some beloved characters.

They're not going to "top it;" that's not their goal with UC4.

Druckmann/Straley are on record saying it would be absurd to try and "go larger," so instead they're going more detailed, more intense and more intimate.

I think a perfect example is the bit in the 13 minute gameplay car chase demo when Drake is trapped under the car while it's catching fire. It's not a massive setpiece like the cargo plane crash, but it's got this close, detailed intensity to it which, tbh, hasn't been seen in any of the other games imo.

Was just thinking this.

It's probably worth staying out of any thread to do with Uncharted 4 if you don't want to be spoiled, even for shots/settings/characters. There will be GIFs rolling around everywhere.

Imma stay out of the new trailer's thread for sure.
