never left the stone age
They're going all in aren't they? But they still gotta bring back Garou to prove their sincerity.

A better motto would have been: Back to the Future. Probably copyrighted or trademarked, but would have been worth it.

I hope KOFXIV is both great and a success so that we see more SNK goodness.

What a bizarre world where Capcom is faltering and SNK is rising.

Edit: and yeah I was talking strictly about their fighting games.

So I guess whatever legalities prompted them to take on the SNKP name have expired by now? What I love most is the return of the "new" old motto.

Who could've foretold that this is where they'd be after the Chinese backer announcement was made?

literally a full circle
did playmore sell their shares back or what? why wouldn't they wanna keep their name?

The company that bought SNK.

Well, I've just realized that Playmore, whatever it is, never had any sort of legacy for me. It's definitely not like Bandai Namco or Activision Blizzard.

Now all we need is Nintendo changing their logo to red (and yes, I know NoA is kinda doing it).

Good luck! Looking forward to KOF and whatever else lies in wait. CvS3 chances could be better now! (What I would've given for KOFXIII looking CvS)

I really thought it was all hot air when the Chinese company that bought them tried to make SNK out to be this huge juggernaut, but it seems they're pretty serious. I'm very excited to see where things go post-King of Fighters XIV.

Hail, peons, for I have come as ambassador from the great and bountiful Blueberry Butt Explosion
I hope the new SNK branches out into single player/co-op content as well. Love me some Metal Slug and Sengoku.

Playmore is weird. SNK's IPs went up for bid after they went bankrupt, so their CEO simply created another company (Playmore), bought the IPs, went around hiring up most of their former employees, and then renamed it SNK Playmore. It's essentially the same company.

Huh... That's honestly weird. I was always under an assumption that Playmore was another game company or just a corporation with enough money and interest in SNK.

I know it´s stupid, but I can't help to feel happy about it.

It´s really nice seeing a classic company trying to recover its past.
