Finally decided to sort one of the two PAB cups from Saturday:

109 1x4 grey SNOT
177 1x1 great SNOT
110 1x1 lamp holder
70 1x4 black bow
4 2x4 brick
583 1x1 round tile

1053 pcs. $.015 per piece. Damn good deal I think.

I am too tired to sort another cup.

i bought Microfight The Ghost and Tie Advanced today, and shortly after building both, i decided to try and rework them a bit for accuracy. the ie was easy, to cover up the hole in the top, using only the pieces provied with the set. it looks exactly how you think.

The Ghost had a bit more love put into it.
http://imgur.com/a/zunNQ

gave it a turret on the top, changed some colors here, made the Gunners cockpit and even a miniature of The Phantom

I realized a bit late I forgot the lower front cannon, but it'd pretty late. I've already stayed up close to 2 am reworking it

Bricklink should start tallying prices of sets based on the part prices.

I also think the price per piece should take weight into account or something to balance it out. $0.10 is a good rule of thumb, but parts, minifigs, and printing can vary the costs.

Yeah the Glendale Galleria got I think 50 cases in, opened at 11am, and they were gone by the time I called at 2 to see if one of my old coworkers could feel out an extra Donald and Aladdin for me since I messed those up. Sigh.

I wish I had the ability to get a second set to put in a safe for a rainy day. The fact that they sold out online in less than a day is ridiculous. How could Lego not have foreseen high demand for these?

I think LEGO did predict high demand for the Disney CMFs. The issue is production and any constraints Disney may have put (I can't think of any reason Disney wouldn't say make a sh*t ton). We all know LEGO factories are at their limits. That and the rushing to get product out is leading to quality control issues. Considering the small number of posters in this thread and how many have encountered QC issues in the Disney CMFs is pretty high IMO.

My guess is it will take at least 2 months for supply to finally equal demand of Disney CMFs.

Voltron made it to 10k! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/138271

I REALLY, REALLY hope it passes review and gets made. I'll buy 3 at least. 1 for fully formed Voltron for display and 1 for five lions displayed next to it. 1 for a present for my sister. x more for investment. :)

The current batch for review only has 2 that are remotely possible IMO. I want the BB-8 one, but it will be interesting to see what LEGO does about it. LEGO doesn't tend to approve Star Wars stuff. I think it's because they usually have plans to make sets (i.e. Sandcrawler). However, this BB-8 is amazingly clever. I don't think LEGO thought of something like that. If they did, they better have PR ready to show how they already had that concept before the LEGO Ideas project to preempt outrage.

Not feeling Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. I'd probably get it, but I want it less everytime I see it.

Blimey, the Disney minifigures are flying off the shelves! My local Sainsburys is still selling Series 15 (now half price!) but the Disney figures have all gone already... Really hoping there's gonna be a restock or this might the first set where I've not collected them all!

I really want to get talked out of the Wii U, it makes no sense as a purchase for me. GB Firehouse makes the most sense as a purchase for me, it'll fit in with my modular shelf and is something I do want. Going to wait till end of month though to get that free Cap polybag.

Dude, i'm sorry, i really am but... you don't own a Wii U YET? I mean sure, it's a bad investment strictly talking money here compared to Lego and considering the fact that the NX will be out rather sooner than later BUT, we're still on a GAMING forum and if you have ever enjoyed Nintendo games at all, the Wii U has a BUNCH of amazing games that are among the best they ever produced!! (DK TF, Splatoon, 3D World, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, Captain Toad, the list goes on and on here)

So yeah, unless you want to quit gaming in general or are just sort of not into Nintendo games, the Wii U is pretty much a MUST :p

Spoken as someone who has one and has only played a few games on that list, but i'll get there eventually (right?)

As far as the Firehouse goes, while it's probably a good investment if you want to resell later, i'd say for that pricetag there's better stuff out there for display purposes.

I'm sure there will be a restock, it would be insane if they understated the amount of demand for these.

None have shown up in my local Sainsbury's yet, going to check all the usual places on my lunch break today. Hopefully there will still be some left!

You missed Lego City Undercover, it's fantastic.

Minifig distribution has been weird lately. Speaking anecdotally for my area, the series 15 figs didn't show up at all until the end of March, almost 2 months late from the Feb. 1 release date, and it seems we only got one shipment because the single box I found sold out within a day and we never got a restock. I ended up with all the ones I wanted but it seems I was really lucky and if I had decided to take my time on collecting them I would've been SOL. Heck, if I hadn't checked that store on that day I would have none of them!

On the other hand, the Disney line-up showed up weeks ahead of the supposed release date (it was May 1 right?) and every store near me has mountains and mountains of them on the shelves.

The gap between series 15 finally/briefly showing up and then being replaced by Disney was like 3 weeks, if that. I've only been collecting the minifigs for the last 2 years but it feels like the releases are getting more erratic lately. Sucks because I don't have a Lego store nearby and you can't easily buy them online if you only want 1 of each character.

Omg, how could i forget that? I was even the one that made a thread about it on gaming side once to pimp it's awesomeness!! One of my points was that that game by itself was actually worth getting a Wii U for ;) It's that damn good.

I managed to pick it up when it was about £20 on sale but haven't played it yet. Not sure what the prices are nowadays and I feel all Lego'd out (about to Platinum Dimensions and Star Wars is out in a couple of months). Still, I might add it to my queue :)

Not only does it have the usual Lego charm, it's got a level of Nintendo polish on top of that (not to mention Chase & Frank Honey have some great dialogue). It's well worth looking into once your Lego gaming tolerance is back to normal.

Anyway, found this. I hope it didn't go up only to get sold out (J2G is notorious for buying stuff 'early' on toysrus.com but I can never manage to find anything that way, how does he get so lucky!?)

The prices on these June LEGO SW Freemaker Adventures sets are so good! Great value.

I was right. J2G *DID* buy one. Dammit... I'm always too late.

A FULL month early? how does TRU not cancel orders like that.

Made the rounds in town today to try and locate some Disney Minifigures. Had some success in Waterstones, but it was very slim pickings. Feels like Ursula, Ariel, Peter Pan and Maleficent. Hopefully they will be in stock in other locations soon.

my store also has the 18 limit, so i would assume it goes for all LEGO store. no hold, and no selling of boxes

can't even buy them until next week as employees tho.

Weird. We have the same 18 count limits but we don't have to wait to buy them. Got my set last night.

On a whim last week I wandered into my local Target and found the Disney CMFs stacked in the Series 15 box, mixed in with the orange packs. I usually just glance at the display, and this time I'm glad I actually paid attention. They were pretty felt up and picked through already, but I managed to snag Captain Hook, Aladdin, Genie, Buzz, Ariel, Donald, Mickey, and Syndrome. There were some Mr. Incredibles, Stitches, Cheshire Cats, and a Minnie left over as well. No hope of Ursula or Malificent, which were the two I really wanted.

My local Meijer had some leftover Monster minifgs leftover and were selling them for $1. My wife bought the remaining 12.

Every one was either a pirate or a Frankenstein, lol. I have 6 of each!

As someone who is also currently playing Dimensions, it's really NOTHING like Dimensions at all. In this case that is a good thing, it's a lot more of a GTA game in Lego form really but it is probably the most charming one to date and is a true labor of love. I say it is the best Lego game ever made including the newer ones.

You're making it go higher on the priority list :p

I got another few Disney figures, adding two Aladdins (I wanted one, but okay then) and one Alice. Still need one or two more Alices, a few Peter Pans and a Genie.

It's the first time we're getting flesh toned figures in CMF bags and spares are always useful.

Just remembered, the last CMF (series 15) sold out online as well. Granted I think it took a couple weeks, but it is now well stocked in the LEGO stores. That is a good sign it's just production and shipping lag. I hope since I haven't gotten any Disney CMFs yet.

Here's hoping! I definitely want multiples of the Pizza Planet Alien, plus some of the humans for their skin tones and then and extra Mickey/Donald/Minnie/Daisy set for my parents.

Went to check at my old store and they got more in, one of my old coworker's had even set aside an Aladdin and Donald for me awww. Now I have one of everyone!

Didn't Nintendo have a hand in helping make t too? There's certainly a charm about it. I mean if you break it down to its components, it's a pretty average game mechanically, but it's comes together as more than a sum of its parts and one of the best games on the system.

The only two things I could fault is that Te beginning is a bit bewildering in trying to find your rhythm in playing and the load times between levels is horrendous.

It sounds like there's no place around any of you guys, but as mentioned before, a local toy store (not the one I got the minifig at) does the feeling for you. They collect preorders for entire sets too. No added cost. They must sell a ton this way and stop people milling about feeling minifigs (as they label them).

Do you guys think this is a good thing for business or consumers? I mean you can still buy random if you want. But it's nice as someone who doesn't have a lot of time to just waltz in and pick up the few you want.

On the minus side, after a certain time, all the popular ones are gone. But probably no different than if they weren't labelled.

It is great that a place does that. It shows they love their customers.

I think it's a good thing for the store as a service. It will attract customers from other places that sell them blind. I also think it's fine that LEGO store as a policy in general doesn't allow employees to feel the bags for customers.

Grrr...no Disney CMFs at Toys R Us and Targets I visited today here in Orange County SoCal. I knew LEGO stores were getting Disney CMF shipments today, but I couldn't make it and was told it would not be a large shipment like there first batch.

Anyone know the DCPI for Target? Seems like Targets and Walmarts get their stuff much later than other parts of the U.S. for some reason. LEGO shipment hub must be on the east coast or something.

Just checked shop.lego and almost all of the Star Wars sets are now backordered whoa

Deals are pretty good at 20% off a lot of sets. Almost all the Nexo Knights sets are on sale now at LEGO retail store. I will wait though as I think I can get 30% or more off the ones I want during the X-Mas season. I don't expect the hot sellers like Millenium Falcon to go on sale.

This is why I do not get into LEGO trains.

I'm not sure what's worse: that I watched that video all the way through, or that I watched it multiple times.

Amazing. Thanks for posting it....back to the rails.

I kind of wondered why LEGO Store employees are officially not supposed to help. You'd think they would rather get people out of there. I take a long time to feel cuz I usually am very selective. The Disney series is not the first series where I only came for one (although I always buy others), so it can take me 30+ minutes to buy 2-3 minifigs.

Hehe, thanks for the "help" on that. This thread would be an addiction therapist's nightmare. I have other issues, like my eye problems, keeping me from getting a Wii U, besides my general apathy towards Nintendo games. I have a PS4 that has been untouched for months now. The only gaming I do is on handhelds now, its the only screens I can see and I can do them in spurts and put them in rest mode quickly when I need to when I start to get lightheaded. I'd love to play Xenoblade X, Bayonetta 2 and upcoming FE # but I haven't finished Arkham Knight among others so its all pointless.

Unless something changes I think i'm going to go for Ghostbusters HQ. I feel like I have some time to get UCS Tie and probably a couple years on Brick Bank. My other hobby of comics is probably going to see a big order this month between GoTG and Gotham Central omnibus so the other option i'm floating, and Phon and Ghostmind are going to kill me on this one, is Temple of Airjitsu.

Good thing about the WiiU is you can treat it like a handheld. I have done that a few times when my wife wants to watch TV and I need to keep playing Zelda. Just slap some headphones on and keep playing on the controller.

I believe it's because some people complain. Some may say it's unfair. They can't find the rare ones because of that. LEGO could solve the whole problem by not making them blind packs. :) Blind packs I believe increase sales which would be another reason. I'm just glad LEGO doesn't do that rare to find crap. They do it a bit by the distribution, but that's mainly driven by costs and guessing which people will want the most. At least that's what they say.

Interesting enough I just purchased both of the recent Lego train sets on Amazon as they were discounted for 33% off.

Now I know my purchase was validated! great video.
