Well, at least the only way to go for Nintendo, at the moment, is up
We said that last year though.

Seems a bit troubling to me. If they have unannounced 3DS games, it makes sense to show them. The "their own conference lets them get all of the attention" argument doesn't seem like it should really matter for 3DS stuff, as they have no real competition in that sector of the market.
When did the NX get a confirmed release date?Considering NX is less than 12 months away, you would think they would want to start the momentum for fans to get interested. I don't care for Zelda games so I guess I will skip it.
A week or two ago. When did the NX get a confirmed release date?
So Nintendo is basically taking off 2016. Hopefully we get a spaceworld at the end of the year, beginning of next year.
Fixed. This is Nintendo under Kimishima until now. Minimum communication, minimum effort.
NX and it's development must be a disaster of epic proportions. There is literally no defense for having no E3 presence.
Remember when people thought Nintendo's E3 couldn't get any worse after last year?
When did the NX get a confirmed release date?
They'll show it before the holidays, I bet. What is the soonest Nintendo would realistically reveal NX and its launch lineup if it's releasing in March? I assume they wouldn't show it before the holidays and Jan/Feb is literally 1 or 2 months before the launch.
When did the NX get a confirmed release date?
Well I remember a lot of people saying that they should've just shown Zelda and they would've been happy .
Grey logo? What happens with the red one?
As for someone who's not a huge Zelda fan, ugh
I don't know if this is true. The guy just became president very recently, and is likely merely following through with prior company plans. The lack of comunication may indeed be his doing but I think it's unreasonable to be so quick to blame him. Plus he's only one guy, it's the corporation as a whole that has been questionable for some time now.
it's been grey for years now.
And yet the other companies pulling out of E3 mean nothing... Hrmmm.
They recently changed it to red.
Has anybody stopped to consider that maybe Nintendo doesn't want to be more successful than they are right at this moment?
Why do I get the feeling Nintendo will eventually drop E3 like TGS?
Nintendo managed to have their worst E3 ever before the event even began. That takes talent.
I'm terrified for NX if this is the state that their marketing is in now. Unless this is building up to something big, marketing alone will prevent NX from succeeding no matter what it is.
Between this and the lack of leaks though, I'm starting to think that NX will just have zero western focus and support (outside of indies) anyway. Not even token support. And yes, I know that this is jumping to conclusions, but effectively skipping the biggest western media even of the year is not something a company with any interest in the western market at all does unless they're so big that they don't need it. Nintendo isn't that big, and they just got smaller.
I wonder if this could even be taken as evidence that NX really is just a handheld with a TV dock, so the NX version of Zelda won't look any better than the Wii U version and there's no point in advertising it.
