I'm so unreasonably excited for this. Or reasonably, given the standard of quality I guess. I can't really think of a major release this year that I'm more sold on. Which isn't to downplay my excitement for other titles, but instead elevate my love for this series.

I'm currently on 250 hours of Wild Hunt, according to Steam, and I can see this pushing me towards 300 once I've exhausted all my comfy sight seeing and aimless wandering. Witcher is my escapism game.

And then will come a replay with all content from scratch...

I'm seriously considering a full replay of all the Witcher games again, though that will be sometime later this year.

I almost want to wait on this until I can get one of the new Nvidia cards, but I know I won't be able to. Witcher 3 actually runs remarkably well on my 2GB 670, but I'd love to really crank it up. Ah well, I can always replay it.

I'll do the same next year in 4k when the Pascal Ti drops.

After watching the trailer of prison break new season, i think that every good series or game series needs to end, i am ok with this.

Nice, just recently started a New Game +, so I'll hopefully be mostly done by the time this rolls around at the end of the month. Guessing it will start at around 65-70 in NG+ since the 2nd expansion quests start at level 62 or so.

The writing in Hearts of Stone was so good, hoping they can match or exceed it here.

Fantastic trailer! I finished the main game on xb1 but just sold it (I've been replaying on PC but currently level 17 and haven't touched skellige). I need to get my butt in gear so I can take in the very well received expansions.

Here are shots of all the Grandmaster Witcher armor plus the Touissant armor. Just when you thought Geralt couldn't get any sexier.

I've basically been rocking the Wolf armor ever since I got it, so I'm excited to upgrade it. Though with the new perks I might switch it out. Not to mention THE DYES.

awww man damn shame how shit the feline armor is, that hood is awful. i've always went with that set. hopefully toussaint or manticore is light as well so i can rock that instead.

manticore one looks a lot like witcher 1.

What do you use as your build?

A mixture of alchemy, signs and swordsmanship. It's not the most effective, but I like it. I use the Axii Delusion and the Aard Sweep skills. Rend and Whirl is fun, and a bunch of the alchemy talents are useful. I have it at 6 Green, 3 Red, 2 Blue and 1 Yellow.

I'm busy experimenting, but with B&W, I'm thinking I'm going to have to have ditch the Signs, and either get Rend OR Whirl, not both, in order to upgrade the new synapses. Even though Whirl looks cool, I think Rend is more effective. But without Whirl or Aard Sweep, I have no crowd control now. Urgh, this is going to be fun, having to rebalance.

Manticore is medium. You can use the Runesmith from HoS to make it light armour, but that takes up the three slots.

Nice. Yeah, the new mutations are going to take a lot of points looks like. I have also been trying to see what points I can drop. Thankfully we'll be getting more from Places of Power in BaW.

Finding the PoP will be the first thing I'll do. Luckily we can see where most of them are. :p

Looks great.

Would love a PS Neo patch in future for a fresh playthrough in the future with all the content and more graphical polish on console.

Please say that is coming CDPR!

Hi, I'm nortonff. I spend my life going into threads to say that I don't care about the topic of the thread. It's a really good use of my time.
Will the UI/menu overhaul update the whole game?

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.

Yes. Though it's not confirmed, I'm pretty sure the menu/UI update will come in a patch for everyone, expansion pack or otherwise.

Yeah, that bunch can be tricky. Use of
Yrden and Axii
helps.

Thanks, I'll try that. I was going mainly with quen, but they are too fast.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine Soundtrack - Main Theme (English)

This is so good. I had never found myself listening to videogame music until I played vanilla Witcher 3. Fields of Ard Skellig was in my regular rotation for a while. Same with Whispers of Oxenfurt.

One of the many reasons I am pretty sure Witcher 3 might be my favorite game of all time. And only the 2nd RPG I ever played through and actually beat (played a fair amount of Skyrim, but never really finished).

I'm replaying the game on PC in anticipation of the expansion. Enhanced visuals and different choices from last time (going with Yen this time) makes it refreshing. Already stumbling on quests that I haven't even seen on my Xbox playthrough.

Some new screenshots (potential spoilers):

What the...

That enemy looks fucking incredible. I see the Bloodborne influences are continuing in this one. First the
Caretaker
in HoS, now what ever that is in B&W.

I see he has help in that scene. Look behind the monster, you can see a brunette fighting with Geralt. I'm pretty sure that was the same one from the earlier trailer.

EDIT: removed new screens as CDPR PR made a mistake. they were meant to only launch next week. One is still linked below, however.

I don't need a save file from a previous playthough, just the base game right? My file got corrupted somehow, and wiped out my completed game save.

There's an option to play just the expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Although, if you want the choices you've made in your playthrough to be the same, you obviously need to get your save back.

God fucking dammit they look fantastic.

We should all start begging them to not abandon the Witcher's setting.

Thanks. I don't really care about my choices enough to replay the game all over again since I don't have the time to do so.

The worst thing about all of this is that while all this great stuff we're hearing about Blood and Wine makes me excited, it really just makes me even more hyped for Cyberpunk.

Damn I wish I hadn't seen those last two screens.

I mean I know they are official, it's not the end of the world.... but please use tags. I hope there will be a couple good surprised left!

Use fucking spoilers guys.

Username is fitting.

I also said this. No one listened.

^^ You should probably tag or link those like we did. Some people might consider them to be a spolier.

Regarding the second screenshot above: are we going to see a Rapunzel reference? Looks like a version of her tower.

Witcher take on Tangled, confirmed.
