Yeah idk, he's 'raise your flame shield' levels of revered though. Guess he's genuine enough and puts a decent effort into his reviews and doesn't just shit them out. I don't mind him.
Co op mode was in Uncharted 2, and I think I saw it's coming for Uncharted 3. It's not main story co op though, but it is what it is. It would probably mess up the main story mode, depending on dumb AI decisions, and game design choices when you're not playing co op. I don't know how well Resident Evil 5 handled it, but I have a notion the AI wasn't amazing.
So far, the only thing I really disagree on is his ideas about pulling stuff like crafting from Tomb Raider. I liked crafting in TLOU, but I think I would have felt dragged down by it here. He's right that the treasures mostly seem like junk though. The only reason to collect them (a pretty good reason admittedly) is to unlock all the fun bonus add-ons.
The game is 12 hours long but I felt most of that was spent slow walking and doing puzzles instead and the AI your average dummy.
Good graphics for sure, but the writing? or the story? Hes right about Sam dude was injected as a plot device to make the 4th and Amy Henigs story was scrapped.
Most of you are probably only mesmerized by the facial animation (I was) to realize how average the story is. Nadine walks out of the plot and Rafe is a spoiled brat.
But it seems if someone has a bad opinion on this game they get bombarded with death threats and hate.
