So based off of the remaing areas does that bode well for Leave or Remain?

Bodes well for Leave. The Remain races were lower than expected while Leave doing better than expected. Just look at Wales and Northern England. And then you only have things like 56 percent turnout in Glasgow.

They've been voting tory since 2010. They're masochists.

We don't know what's good for us in Wales.

Totally blind to the systems apparently and we'll be the first to complain about austerity in South Wales if leave were to take the victory here.

So we're officially a quarter of the way through.

I don't know what to think though. A lot of Scotland has already reported their numbers, some of London also.

I wonder if the non-reporting boroughs are expected to be more on the Leave or Remain side?

Basically sounds like both remain and leave are generally doing better than expected in the districts they were looking to win, but overall projection models are still pointing towards a slight leave victory, even after london.

Wales voting for Leave is the really surprising one to me. Goes to show the extent to which this is about economics IMO.

Leave is about xenophobia more than anything else, all signs point to a uk recession if it's leave. Worst case could be worse than 2008 if the EU comes down hard and the finance centre crashes and trades agreements collapse.

American here. I've been watching this spreadsheet, and it looks like everywhere except SW England, London, Scotland and Northern Ireland is voting to leave.

I find this entire thing completely fascinating. Part of me wants you guys to leave just so I can watch the world burn.

You are at least the second American in this thread to post this and it's genuinely sickening.

Before people blame Corbyn too much, it's not like any of the other Labour leadership candidates could have appealed to white northern working class voters.

They all seem to be in favor of leave. I've basically abandoned all hope already.

There's more of England than there is of London, at the end of the day.
