Hopefully it'll be up on EU PSN in a timely manner. Luckily they've gotten a lot better with that, I still shudder when I think about a few years ago.

Really weird that you can't even pre order the steam version yet. I would love to be able to preload it before Wednesday.

Preload won't be available, sadly. Seems like they had an issue, so pre-order stuff will be available until like July 8th I think? So people can get those bonuses for about a week post-launch.

Can someone tell me how well my laptop can run this game (PC gaming noob)?

It's still somewhat incredible that this game even managed to release. This is the best time line.

Just saw the character list in this game. Junpei and Akane are in it?!

I think I need to replay VLR...

I'd say look up the wiki summary. VLR is great, but has a lot of chaff in the middle with all of the map traversal and beeping and
Alice repeatedly dying
. It was E17's chicken sandwich conundrum all over again.

That's a bummer. I want it on steam but may just buy it on vita to play an extra day earlier.

It's already live in AU, it will probably get a midnight release in UK too. Or even a 11pm release if it follows the CEST time...

So you're telling me I could be playing this right now on my Vita but instead I'm just gonna wait for the Steam release.

The wait is killing me!

I pretty much agree with you, but I don't look at that as a negative, like at all. I'm fine with VLR being a bridging chapter. **shrugs**
The weakest part of VLR was where they kept on bringing up interesting concepts only to go nowhere with them because they were meant for the next game.
Hell, the whole point of the game wasn't anything even in the game itself - it was all preparation for ZTD!
It made the whole thing feel extremely incomplete.

I can't imagine why that system would have any trouble running ZTD. The weakest part of your computer is that you're using integrated Intel graphics rather than having a dedicated video card, but it's not as if ZTD is going to be some sort of graphics powerhouse. The other consideration is that your display maxes out at 1366 x 768, but that shouldn't be a problem for this game (or most games either for that matter).

Will it launch on eshop (EU) in about 6 hours (00:00 28.6.)or have i wait about 24 hours (18:00 28.6.)? Anyone knows it?

It might be in 6 hours but no-one knows for certain. They've gotten better about updating the store at midnight so it's possible.

Damn it. I forgot all about this and thus forgot to playthrough 999 and VLR again. The last time I played VLR to completion was back in 2012, I don't remember much lol.

Ok the OT isn't clear so I figured I would ask a question.

In Virtue's last Reward and 999 there is a clear "hero" perspective that the player has. Does Zero Time Dilemma have the same perspective and, if so, who is the main character?

I can understand if you want to spoiler the answer because some people want to go in super blinds. Myself I like to start drawing conclusions early so I can try to "figure it out". So far zero escape has completely stumped me on every turn.

Wow! That's a beautiful OT! Thanks so much OP!
Can't wait for tomorrow. I get home home from the airport late so I won't be able to start playing until tomorrow night :(

Welp. Seems like Amazon might not have release date delivery

Thinking about going to Gamestop tonight to see if I can get it tomorrow and just cancel my original order

Look like I'm getting a tooth pulled tomorrow, so I can't wait to play this while bedridden and hopped up on pain killers.

I'm assuming the steam release will be at 00:01 on thursday, so about 2 days and 6 hours from now. At least at that time I'll have the wifi all to myself so the what, 1.2gb download completes in a jiffy.

Side note but I remember waking up at midnight to start MGSVs download since they didn't offer a preload. It was like 45 gb. Real glad the file size for ZTD is a fraction of that.

The OT is very clear. There are three main characters and Volcynika labeled them as such.

not a spoiler, it's been prevalent in the marketing. you can choose between several teams, each with their own stories.

We'll that's no good. My order still says shipping soon, but it's been like that since about 3am. I can't cancel my order anymore so I may just go out to gamestop and hope I can get it there and I'll just return the other copy.

Edit: also seen on the aksys twitter that users are reporting ps tv issues? This is no good!!!:(

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet

You switch between Carlos, Diana, and Q I believe.

And this isn't based on any knowledge, I've yet to play the game, but I have a feeling there'll probably be a surprise P.O.V. like the other two games did

Been playing for a bit now. The 3DS version hasn't seemed that bad to be honest, looks fine and runs fine for me.

Well, that depends on the wording of "well". I played it only using the integrated graphics (which I believe is the HD Graphics 530 Desktop variant) and I could manage 60fps at 720p with no AA, VSync, or motion blur (although this one is out of preference). Anything higher would get a little shaky.

Downloading now from AU PS store.
I switched my EU account with the AU one, I don't regret anything.
There's plenty of time to go back and get platinum on my regular account..

"Well" meaning, the game will keep a stable enough FPS (30 or 60) and will look nice enough.

I tried CanYouRunIt and it says my laptop doesn't even meet the minimum requirements, although I don't exactly know what experience the minimum requirements entail (lacking in CPU and I only have 112.5 MB Video RAM as opposed to the 1 GB required).

The minimum requirements for this game are so weird.

Like, my machine can run GTA5 at 720p~45fps, so shouldn't I be able to play this?
Not according to the Minimum Requirements...

I guess I'll wait for PC, and if it's bad, I'll Steam Refund and get the VITA version.
But if it's bad...There's really no excuse for a visual novel game.

Cross posting from the review thread;

Just went to my GameStop to see if they had my copy in yet, and they didn't... Doesn't even show any in transit. FUCK.

I know some GameStop's did get them but might be worth a call if others have it reserved in-store.

Double dipping, triple dipping, will do whatever dipping to ensure my copy tomorrow in hand because amazon still hasnt updated my order (cries)

Amazon hasn't shipped mine but I can wait.
I preordered the game almost a full year ago and have been waiting for it since about a month after VLR's release.
I can handle a few more days
