In VG-World "not currently planned" just is a polite way of saying "stfu, this is not in our PR/marketing plan right now, ask about what we have announced already!"

I still doubt you'll ever see it on NX. PC is a given though.

Seems like a silly question to ask a developer when the system isn't even announced yet. I might consider asking that in an interview once it had been revealed, but even then, they won't make a product announcement since that will be left to marketing.
When Square-Enix made Horii walk back his promise that DQ11 would come to NX, it makes no sense that they would promise FF15 is coming to NX.
ESPECIALLY with how transparently difficult it's been for them to get it working on PS4/XB1.
To even give the impression that they've wasted any development time working on an NX port would be so, so dumb.

Sure because it's FF. No reason to expect it to suddenly show up just because the machine can match the visuals. Wii didn't get FF XII either and that was a massive sales hit right out the gate.

NX is releasing (at the earliest) 6 months after XV. It could happen but I imagine they're focusing on finishing it on PS4 and X1 and they might consider other platforms like PC later.

I'm failing to understand what person, interested in this game is going to wait for a late port on a console that isn't releasing for another year.
If it does happen, cool, but I cannot see it being a big success.

It's timed console exclusive so it will be a long time if it is coming.

Have they even fully committed to PC yet? IF it does happen, it'd be a late port anyway + system is unannounced + SE already backtracked on announcing the Dragon Quest games... This is non-news.

I think that has more chances to come out on NX. It's timed exclusive to PS4 but a late port to X1 and NX would make more sense than just porting it to X1.

wel considering that they are under a huge amount of pressure to get XV out for september just for PS4/XB1 (and aren't even properly working on a PC version yet) - why would they be working on a version for a console that hasn't even officially been announced?

They probably will. KH has had multiple games for Nintendo and there is no exclusivity deal on it. Also NX will be out when KH3 releases unlike XV.

NX isn't getting strong 3rd party support, I don't know why people can't come to terms with that. With that said, it would probably make more since to release this on NX than Xbox One.

I can't remember if Tabata said that a PC version will happen or if he was considering it. I definitely remember that it was going to be a late port because he wants to use the PC hardware to its full extent, or something. But yeah, that still touches on the main point here. If even PC isn't being prioritized to have a day 1 port, obviously there's no chance a system that won't even be out at the time is being strongly committed to.

NX is never getting FFXV, it's also never getting FFVIIR or Kingdom Hearts III.
Trailer said first on PS4. It's the type of game Nintendo would push hard to have on NX.

Dunno about XV and KH3, but I don't see the FF7 remake being anything but on PS4.
I don't know, this might sound a little fanboyish, but FF7 is very distinctly a Playstation associated game. The remake hasn't been announced to be on Xbox One either.
There is no way KH3 isnt a 2017 release. Pretty sure they have the release plan and schedules already in place to be announced this year. 2018 would be nuts.
bet you anything it will eventually be on pc.

It's probably not coming to Xbox.
FFXV is important, but if their NX reveal is filled with ported third party announcements of games that are going to be out before the NX launch would be disappointing. Just like the Wii U reveal.
They need to talk about the future titles hitting NX.
Pretty much. Hiroyuki Kobayashi said in October "no plans" about a new Sengoku Basara game, two months before a new one was announced.
