We are talking about SEGA here. They really don't know what to do/release on PC even if you point game to them and say "this will sell on PC, bring that to PC"

As in successful or actually longer than half a minute? I kind of thought that was the novelty of the first one. Disappointed now

A technical issue made worse by the fact that they take the money before the phone verification step, so when it failed I was left with no game and no money for weeks until I was able to get it refunded.
It's hard to say exactly if this is region locked or not - there are a dozen or so subs for the game. Expect to receive a scanned copy of the serial number from a retail box that probably isn't in English.

So I've been playing Mirror's Edge for a couple hours now, I think I'm at chapter 5 or 6.
Parcouring around is a lot of fun and I looove how that first-person-rolling looks. I could do that all the time.
But who the hell though the combat was a good idea. It essentially ranges from annoying to terribly frustrating. Apparently there is a mod that gets rid of it by changing every enemy into a rat, but that seems to require starting a new game and I'm not sure if I want that at this point (there aren't multiple save-slots, are there?)
On the other hand, the time trials are amazing. Only did 2 so far and am trying to get 3 stars at the first, but the running and discovering the optimal route feels great.

Haha just looking at the screenshots had me quite confused!
I was thinking maybe going to back to Civ V but with the new one around the corner I want to save on that itch.Downwell, Rocket League and Overwatch are my go-to games for when I'm in the mood for some podcasts. The former is especially fit for it, since it's based around reflexes only and nothing else. I also used to play Crypt of the Necrodancer while listening to Bombcasts but that's because I'm a dumbass.

I played about 26 minutes of Prototype 2, went "yep that's more Prototype" and now I'm staring at it in my Steam library wondering if I should try to play any more.
I might give Rocket League a try again, since it's the only one I have, but I always get so damn into the game that I don't think I would be able to concentrate on any audiobooks.XD
I will probably just end up going back to FO 4 and start some new building project and spend hours gathering resources.

Hopefully they learned something the first time around about giving out Steam keys to people who already own the game. Ideally they would just add it to the existing subs this time and call it a day, but something tells me they're gonna want to try and charge us for it again.

It's fair for them to charge for it, just I hope they learned from last time and make any sort of loyalty discount fair. Tying the last one to basically having to own the art book even when you had all other DLC was rather odd.

I suppose that's fair. I'm not implying that they shouldn't be paid for their work, and you're right some people would happily pay to "upgrade" to the new version with a good loyalty discount.
I guess what I'm saying is, I hope they don't just say "lol nope, full price" like they essentially did for Darksiders II at first.

Wasn't that last time because of they wanted to require DLC, so simple sub editing wouldn't worked? Anyways no DLC for first one.
Maybe they just fix old one without new app and support old saves too...
Better move to Finland or some other country that doesn't support cortana

You will still be able to disable it using a local or group policy (so to not completely infuriate corporate customers or potentially break the law by violating HIPAA standards) which means it will still be trivially easy to disable, but you'll need to do it yourself without a GUI or rely on a third party app to disable it for you.

Kind of strange but each time I reinstalled Windows 10 from a UK English ISO made on a UK English Windows, the default language was Deutsch every time. Easy to just switch to English, but I have no idea why it did that
They are still better then they were before PokeGO but they are going down. On local forum i was called Nintendo hater and crazy when I pointed out that stocks went up mostly because those Wall Street suits thought that PokeGO is 100% Nintendo game. Then Nintendo said that they don't expect any change for this quarter and stocks went down when suits realized that Nintendo is just a part of PokeGO.
